Jesus Is Lord!
I am convinced that, eventually, true worship will "cost" you something. It will cost you your dignity or your self-respect or some other thing you cherish - usually in the sight of others. My suspicion is that we cloak our pride or embarrassment in the kind of words I've heard since I was a child: "It doesn't take all of that to please God." But David was different. His attitude seemed to be: "whatever it takes."

More About Me:
I'm simple, honest, down to earth, and enjoy the company of that special someone.
Also, I enjoy reading/writing poetry, singing, and playing music at my church every week
( Abundant Life Church of God , check us out).
In 2000 I left Maryland to go to DeVry University in Columbus, Ohio to study Computer Programming. It was there that I started my own Software Company (designing webpages, custom software, and handling routine hardward fixes/upgrades/installs...(anything to put food on the table). Look me up sometime--- http://www.ShakeSoft.com . I love the entrepreneurship mentality and am a huge supporter of those who strive to do their own thing. Lately though, I haven't had as much time for freelancing as I used to. In '03 got my B.S. in Computer Information Systems. Near the end of my term in college I finally heeded (and stopped avoiding) the call that God had placed on my life. Once I made that decision to go all of the way, things started falling right into place. I joined the Minister's Training Class and soon found myself preaching at youth revivals and normal Sunday Services......wheeeew....I didn't think I'd ever be doing this! Then in '04 I moved back to Maryland to assist my parents in their church ministry...yeah, that's right, I'm a P.K., actually I've always been!
From 2004-2007 I served as the Minister of Music at my parent's church and had a job working as a Network Administrator (and I loved it!!!! :)) I enjoy school and plan to continue taking courses here and there. Learning more is always great in my book. My next schooling will be Seminary.
After moving back to Columbus, OH in Feb 2007 I got ordained as a Minister with my church (New Birth Christian Ministries) and currently serve there as a Minister, a Prayer Warrior, and a Musician.
Something funny about myself is that I like to put Syrup on my food, not just any syrup though: It's got to be Aunt J. (the real thang)
Never been married, and I don't have any kids, but I'm all about family. Also I'm confident in the direction God is taking me!
Now that I'm back home I'm looking to reconnect with old friends and start making new ones, so...... write me sometime, I'd love to talk.
