I can look good or I can look awful depending on the time of day/make-up balance/whether or not I've just been for a run; I am curious - to the point of being ridiculously over-analytical; funny - although usually when I don't mean to be - musical, friendly and a bit of a geek. This is borne out by the ridiculous amount of love I have for Early Church music which has entailed me hauling myself out of my bed (sleeping is another of my very favourite pastimes....) to sing at St Giles near enough every Sunday morning off and on for the past 9 years. My singing has brought me some fantastic opportunities over the years, notably to go to Athens to perform at a Lenten Festival type thing in March 2005, to sing solo on Hogmanay 2005/06 in St Giles with the Scottish Ensemble, and to meet some amazing folks in Sydney who I got to sing with recently as part of the guest choir in residence at Westminster Abbey. I sing in Glasgow with the Glasgow University Madrigirls, and in Edinburgh with the Calton Consort (we're awesome) and at St Giles. I've also done a bit with Edinburgh Camerata, and am all too easily persuaded to step up to the mic at parties!!What else - I can be quite quite grown-up when I want to be, but I am very much in touch with my inner child.... Rizzo the Rat is my Friend. I can also be a bit of a drama queen and I stress worse than the cables on the Forth Road Bridge but nobody's perfect, right?! Anything else you want to know, just yell.
