Punk, Hardcore and a bit of Metal - but avoiding to fall into the still growing metalcoregenre- in short: Melodic Hardcore, that's Tiny-Y-Son.
It's about two years ago since the 5 young musicians from the north of Germany (Bremervoerde - between Hamburg and Bremen) released their Debut-EP "Conversation Zero" on RP-Punkrock.
In these two years Tiny-Y-Son build up a small but solid fanbase in Germany, France, Belgium, the Czech Republic and Italy by playing over 120 concerts.
Now, after three months of recording, the first album named "Embracing Uncertainty" is ready to go. It contains 15 songs.
Opposites attract. So aggressions and melodies compose the base of "Embracing Uncertainty". Powerful metalparts run over to hardcoreshouts and melodious sing-along-refrains. Significant lyrics about political incidents and the climate change top off this record. To the band their statements are as important as the independent sound of this record.
"Embracing Uncertainty" was produced by Olman Viper (The Turbo AC's) in the Nullzweistudios/Hamburg. During the whole recording-process Guido Knollmann (Donots) supported the Band as their co-producer.
In March 2007, Tiny-Y-Son signed to Record Of The Year from Berlin/Germany and started a collaboration with their new booking-agency (New Tradition) to have a great beginning with "Embracing Uncertainty". At the moment the band is setting up for their first release-tour in May through Germany, France and Spain. Afterwards the open-air-season is waiting.
Chrorus Of One Records will release the album combined with the EP "Conversation Zero" in a special edition in june/july 2007 in italy. Three Tails Records is going to release "Embracing Uncertainty" this summer in japan as well.
