True Love Never Dies...

About Me

Hey ya'll! My name is Bridget and I am a 41 yr old mother of two (15 yr old son and 11 yr old daughter)...my husband and I have been together for 22 years (dated 6, married 16)... I'm a proud former Piedmont Panther (class of '83) and now a Piedmont Panther Parent :-)I love spending time with my kids ... they mean the world to me. I have a handful of really close friends that are like my sisters ... (Debbie, Jenny, Angela, Janet, Ruth and Glenda...you know who you are!) ... life is so hectic, we rarely get to spend much time together, but hey, when we do it's always a blast!I hope to hear from some former Panthers ... I missed our 20th reunion so I'd love to hear what's going on with everyone since we graduated.I love to act goofy... I love to laugh... I love the sound of my children's laughter... I love to meet new people... I love to go places I've never been...Now it's your turn ... I want to hear all about YOU ...Layout Provided By FreeCodeSource.com - Myspace Layouts

My Interests

I love... ...to sing and dance (although I can't carry a tune and I'm not very coordinated) ...listening to my son play his guitar ...reading the beautiful songs my daughter pours her heart into ...movies with happy endings ...music that makes we want to shake my boo-tay ...curling up with a blanket, cup of coffee and a good book on a cold rainy day ...cooking an old-fashioned homemade meal from scratch ...planning parties ...hanging out with my girlfriends ...kisses from my kitty when she snuggles with me ...watching Reality TV ...doing anything creative and fun

I'd like to meet:

Larry the Cable Guy, of course! I think he's HOT... (Git-R-Done!). I wouldn't be too upset if I ran into Tim McGraw and Faith Hill...and I reckon I could handle hangin' out with Sandra Bullock once a month or so...and Johnny Depp & Nick Lachey can rock my world any time they feel like it :-)

Music:

I like all kinds of music...from Kelly Clarkson to Metallica! ...but my favorite artist of all?? That would be my son...he is AWESOME and going to be very famous one day! He can play one mean electric guitar...self-taught and totally amazing watching his fingers fly over those strings! He makes us very proud :-) He even writes his own music...remember the name Kryptic - you can tell them you heard it here first!

Movies:

Anything that Sandra Bullock does (she's my fave), The Bridges of Madison County, The Notebook (my all-time fave), pretty much any 'chick flick'...but I also like the scary movies as well...comedies are always good too ...

Television:

All the reality shows...Apprentice, Hell's Kitchen, Trading Spouses, Bridezilla, Nanny 911, etc...my favorite every day shows to watch (in reruns) are Friends and King of Queens. 24 and House are good. Rachel Ray's 30-Minute Meals cooking show is great...I like the shows that tell celebrities life stories, like E True Hollywood Story...and anything on Lifetime Movies for Women is a-ok with me!

Books:

I will read just about anything ... but my all-time favorite book is The Notebook. (except my eyes were swollen for 2 days from crying so much).

Heroes:

My mom, who is an amazing person...and my kids, who are my heart and soul...
Anthony G is my hero.

Another Wonderful Weekend...(and yes, that was sarcasm)

Let's see...where do I start? My wonderful weekend started with the remains of a 2-day stomach virus accompanied by migraines...I leave work early because I don't  want to puke on my keyboard (s...
