About Me

About me..well my name's Brian Sexton if you don't know this already. There are things I don't understand as to why they've happened, but despite what I've witnessed and what I've been through, I know that Jesus Christ is our Lord & Savior. I grew up in church, however there was a point where my family stopped going and in that time I was backsliding. Even in those times there still wasn't a doubt in my mind about God. Looking back I see how He pulled me through everything I dealt with even tho I couldn't see it at the moment, and I've experienced how much of a difference there is in life when you're serving Him compared to when you're not. Everything literally fell apart when my family stopped going to church. It's not just about going to church, but it helps to keep you focused on God & to give Him praise in an atmosphere of worship. Not going to church makes it easier for someone to slip away from God and may cause them to dabble with things they shouldn't mess with. I stand firm in my faith & I'm not ashamed to make that clear, it doesn't matter what other people may think of it. What kind of believer would I be if I didn't stand up and show that I'm unashamed? It confuses me how there are people that claim they believe in Christ, yet their lifestyle doesn't show it & they don't witness to others. It's not about religion tho, it's about having a relationship with Christ. He died for me, the least I can do is live for Him. Even through the rough times in life I refuse to let it strip me from God, I'm gonna continue to keep my faith in Him and trust that He'll provide a way in which He always has. I just praying for His will to be done in my life.
