About Me

Hailed by critics as "a true destroyer of quarter notes" after his debut with JT and the Jazz Jammers in 1994, bass player Mark Anderson has had a steady procession of performance and honors. From his beginnings as a young musician growing up near the cornfields and feedlots of Nebraska, to performing at the famed Landry's Seafood House in New Orleans, Anderson has garnered a reputation as a semi-professional musician's musician.Mark has performed throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, and Taiwan. He is a proud graduate of Loyola University of New Orleans. In 2003, Anderson graduated from the prestigious Manhattan School of Music, where he strived to become the complete artist-musician of the 21st Century. After a two-year hiatus spent mastering the specialized craft of cashiering at a mega-bookstore chain, Mark returned to school in 2005 at Teachers College Columbia University, where he will complete his Masters of Education in May 2007.Mark is widely recognized for his incredibly positive outlook on life.
