About Me

Steven has been playing Saxophone for 18 years. So far, he has had the chance to play with many great artists and friends. From Los Angeles to Amsterdam or North Carolina to Germany, Steven has met and performed with lots of great people along the way.On 1/1/2000, Steven met Mike Corrado and started touring with his band. It is from Mike that Steven learned the love of the guitar and also singing and songwriting. Since, Steven has been writing and playing his songs for everyone that will listen. Steven has had a couple of songs recorded by Coastline on the Landslide Label and played worldwide. In fact, the song "Take That Picture" on the "Sweet and Ripe" recording was a hit in New Zealand! Steven Thorne has played or shared the stage with artists such as: Edwin McCain, Vertical Horizon, Collective Soul, Edie Brickell and New Bohemians, Jeffery Gaines, Coastline, General Johnson and the Chairmen of the Board, Keller Williams, Hobex, Bob Berg, Rufus Reid, Gary Novak, Ed Soph, Marvin Stamm, John Mayer, Mike Corrado Band, Pat McGee Band, Delbert McClinton, Clarence Carter, Frankie Valli and the Four Season, Ringling Bros.
