I was really supposed to be a writer - I don't know how to write short e-mails or short sentences, even. So, just wanted to prepare you...But, do me & you both a favor - if you are a guy & you think you want to talk to me, how about actually READING my profile before you start talking to me. Chances are that it's not going to work out if you aren't patient enough to do a little light reading...so don't waste my time.I was born in Savannah, Georgia, raised in Pembroke, and finished High School in Springfield. I joined the USAF when I turned 18, but was medically discharged after 6 months. (ankle issues) I started college at Armstrong Atlantic State University and that degree is still in progress...though I've probably lost most of my credits by now...I have a son, RILEY, who was born 1/21/07. He's the LOVE OF MY LIFE. His father is not taking an active role in his life, so I'm truly a "single mom" - doing it all alone, and not really stressing about it...I always said that I NEVER wanted kids, but, now, I can't imagine life without him.I have a job that I love and do well enough for a chick my age - I am hopelessly optimistic about everything, sometimes to a fault - but I really do believe the old saying, "That which does not kill you makes you stronger." Truly words to live by.
