SECOND: I really, *really* don't like anyone right now and plan to keep it that way for a while. I am tired of eating the shit fed to me, so I am calling it quits and giving myself a breather. Shit stinks, afer all... Okay, I take it back. I am in a relationship with a wonderful man for some time now, and I am quite happy. It's safe to say that a smidgen of faith in humanity has returned to my once incredibly bleak opinion of things.
My name is Tanya (as in Taynyuh...not Tawnyuh - a.k.a. T, T-Dawg, TanDoll, Tanyetta, Tanya-Bonanya, The Weirdo, The Poopinator, Bandit, Sharkee Beanz, Monkey Nuts, Goofy, or Moose - take your pick or make up your own and I will add it to my ever-growing list of other-namelies), and I am a person who wants to be an artist when I grow up.
Hey, folks...really? I am kinda weird...very weird. Not typical. Rarely normal. Strange. Abstract. Goofy. Creative. Smiling. Loving. I am a feminist on several fronts and support things lots of people look down their noses at. I find it rather ironic that my mom bought me a shirt that reads: "If you're too open minded, your brain will fall out." And I find it even more ironic that I actually wear it. :P
One day I will return to school and finish my BFA for Printmaking - as it stands, this is happening as of Spring '07, woot woot, go me! Of course, I guess "taking" classes isn't enough...should help a bit if I actually showed up once in a while, right? But, yanno...regardless, that degree would make for some interesting wallpaper...expensive interesting wall paper...expensive interesting wall paper that covers only a few square inches...still, it'd sure be purdy.
People think I am intimidating...and I just don't get it. At least I thought I was sorta nice. It must be that bouncer stance....gotta work on that....
I am apprenticing as a tattoo artist. Talk about bittersweet...fa'sheezus. Don't worry, though. I got this! I got this!
