This is me and my one and only after a long day at the Zoo with the kids. Aren't we too cute?
Who I'd like to meet? Lots of people! I want to meet some friends that I really have something in common with. I have lots of friends don't get me wrong, but none I can really consider close (except the ones I left behind in my hometown) anymore.I'd like to meet the people that I talk with on here in my groups. That would be great to be able to meet in person the people who are helping motivate me to change my life.Other than that....No one and everyone! I don't really care to meet anyone famous because that would ruin my perfect image of them and I couldn't like them anymore. Most of them are just not my type of people you know?

I am discovering a whole new world of music here on myspace. I love listening to new bands. I am currently into The Fray, Cold Play, AFI, INXS, Marty Casey and the Lovehandles, and a few others, as well as my country that I listen to always. But basically, I like all sorts of Genre's from Big Band to Hard Rock. Ask me what I feel like today!
Movies hmmm...I like sappy, girly, make you cry movies. It infuriates my hubby cuz he hates the girly movies!!! I love musicals and usually the only way I get to see them is if they make them into a movie. LOVE Phantom of the Opera. I have seen that one live but I thought they did a pretty good job making it into a movie. I love both Pirates and my oldest daughter actually thought I was bad for thinking Orlando Bloom is hot...But she doesn't realize he is only two years younger than me so it's HER thats bad cuz he is way to old for her. (he he he he he....so THERE Miss ZOEE!!!)
I like to watch biggest loser for obvious reasons. And amazing race, and survivor. Greys anatomy, ER, CSI (las vegas only) Scrubs (love scrubs!) and a couple others. When I am not busy reading that is!
My very favorite author is Diana Gabaldon. I have been reading the Outlander series since 1998 sometime when I was working in a Lions and one of my regulars gave me this book (Outlander) and told me to read it. It sat in my bedroom for a month before I picked it up and I have been hooked ever since. I am excited and sad at the same time that her last book in the series (well maybe) will be out this year or early next.On the kids side, I enjoyed the Harry Potter series. My oldest son who's 15 loves to go to the books store the night it is released and then rush me home so I can read it first. He does this because it takes me two days to read it and him two weeks and I wont allow him to talk to me about it if he reads it first and loves to have long discussions about it as he reads.
My hero is my Mom. Now there's a woman with the answers. (Well not really but she sure did make me believe it!!!) My Mom did it all. A single mom with three kids to raise. She made me who I am. She doesn't worry about what everyone else thinks. She does what she believes in and what she thinks is right. I admire her determination and her intelligence when it comes to life. She is definitely my number one all time hero.My other Hero's are my kids.My Son, Timothy: At 15 he has been through more than a lot of 15 year olds and he still is a pleasant person to be around (ok he has a teenage attitude sometimes but I knew that was coming). He is supersmart (sometimes makes you feel like you are talking to a rocket scientist) and lately very tall (at least he is taller than me now!)My Daughter Zoee: Zoee has a little trouble with school but she is the sweetest, kindest girl for the most part. (sometimes she is mean to her siblings...but they all do that). She also has been through a lot in her life with her mom (yes I am the step, but I have basically raised her. She doesn't see her mom much) in and out of her life it makes things hard on her. But she never utters a bad word about anyone. Just a truly sweet girl.My Daughter, Madison: At nine years old she is already more responsible and hard working than any other kid I know. She is nearly a straight A student. She never forgets to do her homework or has to be told twice. She has been dancing for going on four years now and can do things that just make your eyes pop out! If there is something she doesn't get, she just has to practice and set her mind to it and boom! She's got it. She always tells me how much she loves me and is determined to live with me forever (at least right now she is).My Son, Tayllor: My Tayllor is my baby. I love to hear his little voice running out to me when I get home from work. He is still tiny enough to hold in my lap and loves to give kisses and hugs all the time. My little First Grader is also showing a lot of promise in the smarts area. He already knows half of the site words on the first grade list!!
