PLAYA STEVO ™

Born and raised in Fresno, California. Steve Castillo was introduced into the rap game. Back in early 2000 he collaborated with an underground rap group known as "The Ghetto Tribe". This is also where he took on the name STEVO. Later that year the first album was completed. The title was The Sickest(Dragon66), The Pimpest(Stevo) & The Funkiest(The Wood Dogg). Album sales were proper. Together as a group they did a lot of opening act's for Major and underground Artist's such as Celly Cel, GQ, NB Ridaz, Timmy T, Heatwave, Mr. Kee, Nocturnal, Jayo Felony and several others. As time went on and a couple of years past. They decided to go their separate ways and still to this day the second album has yet to be completed. But this never put a stop on Stevo. He started his own record label "PIMPAHOLIC RECORDS" and added a little more to his name. "PLAYA STEVO" who is now a Solo Artist doing bigger and better things. Nothing can or will hold him down. Being a Rap Artist out of the Central Valley is a helluva struggle. But at the same time it keeps a Playa going. Playa Stevo has one album out right now in a few stores, such as Music Trend in Hanford & Porterville, J&C House of Records & Tower Records both in Fresno, also at Royal Music in Corcoran. He has some tight features up on there, such as Jay Tee of N2Deep/Latino Velvet, The Twin Brothers of Mind Therapy Records. He also has the Master Mind(Kindred) up on there as well. The New Album titled "HIGHLY EXPECTED", is currently being Pressed and will be Distributed in stores here in a minute. So be on the Lookout for that. A few features on that is Mr. Kee and once again The Twin Brothers & that New R&B singer Raesanae. So far its coming out PIMP.
