I created my layout at KillerKiwi.netIt was in January 1998 that I travelled from Austria to plunge into the DJ scene & culture of the very „Windy City“ of “Broad Shouldersâ€â€“ CHICAGO (ILLIN_NOIZE). On that quest of self-discovery and musical reciprocity I sought to “enrich my base from the rootâ€. I went with my curiosity and some worldly musical contributions & influences from Europe and BEYOND. My journey turned into 4 years time of intense learning and soaking from Chicago’s diverse and fascinating culture. My musical engagements lead to jobs at Groovedis and Guidance Recordings which changed my position from the observer to a contributor and active link in Chicago’s daily music business. As the icing of the cake I found opportunities to spin my records at various clubs, bars, restaurants and parties all over the city. Since my return to Austria and new residency in Vienna spring 2002 I’m privileged to say that I still keep on doing my share to fuse the Beat and mingle Sounds from around the world into a comprehensive solid tribe and all that spiced up with some extra Chicago flavour.
