This site is dedicated to my Heavenly Father, who took a nobody like me but had a plan for my life before I was born to become a stuntman (Psalm 139:13-16), then saved me thru His Son and made a new creation out of me (2 Corinthians 5:17). I named my company, Impact Stunts For Christ Inc. As a new Christian I told the Lord I would make an impact for Him on the movie sets. Jesus said, "Everyone who confesses Me before men, I will confess him before my Father who is in Heaven. But whoever shall deny Me before men, I will also deny him before my Father who is in Heaven." Matthew 10:32,33
To my wife, who is my best friend and one special lady. She is Heaven sent. A good wife is from the Lord. To my big crew of children who love their chickens and barn cats.
To my Mom who gave birth to me when she was 14 years old. The authorities wanted her to put me up for adoption because of her age but she convinced her mom to sign for custody of me until she was 16, then I could legally be with her. My Mom had the guts and the courage at 14 to keep me and raise me the best she knew how. A mighty feat, very rare in our society. Now you know where I get courage from :) I love you Mom. I have grown up with no dad and have had to figure out life by myself. But now my Heavenly Father is teaching me His ways. The Lord is a Father to the Fatherless and now we are forever friends. He's the only Daddy I ever knew. Thank you Father, I love you.
On STUNT DAWGS, a new tv series, I got the opportunity to do the biggest gag of my career: a pipe roll at 60 mph through a motorhome. The car flew 120 feet in the air before crashing to the gound and rolling to a stop some 150 feet later. Check it out at Stunt Dawgs . Since I was 6 years old I knew I was going to be a Stuntman and have been blessed by the Lord to live my dream for 17 years so far. Evel Knievel made a huge impact on me as a kid. The Six Million Dollar Man was my favorite show. So many people told me I'd never make anything of myself never mind becoming a Stuntman.
I have been fortunate to work in over 90 features, tv series, movies of the week, pilots and commercials on shows like Firewall, I Robot, Scary Movie 3, Elf, Supernatural, Air Bud, The 4400, Battlestar Galactica, Mysterious Ways, The Dead Zone, Highlander, Outer Limits, Stargate and X-Files. Have done live stunt shows with Stuntman Rich Bragg (The Burnmaster) at Johnny Hagner's Hollywood Stuntmen's Hall Of Fame.
I was lead stunt double for Garrett Maggart on 37 of 50 episodes of "The Sentinel" and have doubled Casper Van Dien, Ian Tracey, Chad Lowe, Aaron Eckhart, Cliff Saunders, Paul McCrane, Brian Markinson, Vincent Gale, Matthew Bennett, Ben Foster and Doug Hutchison to name a few. Stunt Coordinating "Powerplay" a hockey movie produced by World Wide Pictures was a highlight. On that picture I met and worked with Paul Henderson who scored the series winning goal in the Canada Cup Hockey Series 1972 against Russia. I also worked with Stanley Cup Champion Ryan Walter. Working with Jackie Chan on "Rumble In The Bronx" and becoming a Member of the Hollywood Stuntmen's Hall Of Fame are also highlights.

I began doing stunts at a young age and was the kid who took the risks. I was born to be a stuntman. Born in Toronto and growing up in Little Italy with the pizanos, near Dufferin and Eglington, Italian was the first language I learned to speak. Zia my babysitter, raised me in her home during the day from 6 months old to 7 years old, Monday to Friday. She was from Sicily/Italy and spoke to me only in Italian all day long. My Mom, Gram and Gramps never understood me for years until I learned to speak english.
When Gramps was in the backyard me and Denato, one of the four Italian brothers who lived next door, would sneak up the stairs to the second floor, go into Gramps bedroom, open up the window and jump off the veranda roof down to the ground while the other brothers cheered us on. I was 6 years old. Those same Italian brothers cheered me on when I drove my 3 wheel tractor at out of control speeds down the sidewalk of our steep street when I was 3 and 4 without crashing.
Swimming at the local pool with the Italian brothers, (Gil, Felicci, Joe and Denato) in the summer, I watched them jump off the high diving board 17 feet high at the deep end while swimming in the shallow end. I got out of the water and asked the life guard if I could jump like those boys. She said,"you have to swim two widths of the pool". The only stroke I knew was the dog paddle so I set out and made it. Gil the oldest of the Italian brothers came over to see if I was okay and the life guard said I was allowed to jump off the high board in the deep end if Gil took responsibility for me. They jumped first and treaded water off to the side waiting for me to jump. I summoned up the courage then went for it. I did that with the brothers for the rest of the day. I was 6 or 7 years old. The brothers taught me the game of hockey.We played alot of road hockey with the pizannos after school and on weekends, street against street, big time battles. Hockey is big in T.O.
At 10 and 11, I was riding my bike down stairs, jumping ramps and purchased my first skateboard with money earned from a paper route. One of my favorite tricks was a handstand down the long hill and time it so the traffic light would turn green and then cruise through the intersection ending just on the other side.In the school yard I would pretend to be punched and fall down. I played little league hardball for the Navy Vets and Kirk Muller was on the team. Kirk wanted to be in the NHL and I wanted to be a stuntman. We both reached our dreams.
At 12 and 13 on Wolfe Island me and my friends would jump off the 25 foot high peer into the water behind the ferry as it would leave. The propeller made the water churn and I got pulled under by the undertow from the propeller wash and was sure I was going to suffocate and die. It seemed like forever and then boom, the water pushed me up just as I ran out of air. We used to also high dive off 30 foot sculptures in Portsmouth Harbour.
I could do wheelies for blocks and around corners. One day the front tire blew and I couldn't afford to fix it so I rode to school and everywhere else on the back tire. My game was to not let the front end touch the road, so I wheelied everywhere. During a trip to Europe my mom purchased a new aluminum skateboard and I toured the city of Florence, Italy on it. Soon after arriving home I had a serious skateboard accident which caused two seizures, a concussion and I was unconscious for a few hours. The doctors said I was "lucky to be alive".
At 14 and 15 I would jump off the motel roof from 25 feet into the swimming pool deep end which had 6 feet of water. In the winter you grab the back bumper of a city bus and ski. The icing on the cake was to let go as the bus turns a corner. It goes one way and you slide the other.
At 16 and 17, me and Chris G. would get his dad's car and jump from the railroad tracks at 60 or 70 mph and be somewhere between 15 or 20 feet in the air landing over 100 feet down the hill on all 4 tires. I remember looking out the side window while in the air and seeing the tops of the telephone poles. The Plymouth Satellite was solid lasting two jumps and was actually sold. His dad, RV, never knew we jumped it. There was no apparent visible damage. Marc D. was with us on one of the jumps. We took out the next new car, a Dodge Swinger and launched it. The landing was beautiful. We got out and shouted, then checked for damage. To our horror it was bent in the middle and the front tires angled out. I said, "what are we going to tell RV?"
We got back into the car and hurried back to Chris's house because we had to pick up RV so he could meet his wife Mrs. G. and go dancing on a Saturday night down at the Legion. It was dark so we hoped he wouldn't notice. We pulled up, beeped the horn and he gets in the backseat. We drive away and RV say's, "boy's, this thing rides like a Cadillac", as he puffs on his big cigarette. We looked at each other and tried not to laugh but knew we were going to be in trouble in the morning when it was bright enough for him to see the damage. We dropped him off and drove around for the rest of the night until we had to pick them both up about 1 am then we all went for chinese food and they didn't notice. The car went to the auto wreckers the next day. RV was sure mad :-)
At 18 and 19, Chris G. and I were the Breakdance Champions of Kingston, Ont., breakin' for crowds of 800 people. Dancing, ice hockey, baseball, football, basketball, soccer, martial arts and tournaments, gymnastics, have helped to train me over the years.
I left home at 16 and worked full time for 8 years then realized there had to be more to life than this. It was time to become a professional stunt man. At 24, I took a stunt course at Shane Cardwell's Canadian Stunt Institute in Toronto. During spring clean up I used a friends car and drove around the neighbourhood gathering old bed mattresses and convinced my landlord to let me jump off the roof of his house for highfall practice which was 26 feet high.
During my job at The Royal Military College Of Canada I regularly set up falls into porta pits from about 20 feet in the gymnasium while working and never got caught because my fellow workers would be look outs. Harley and the boyz used to call me "JIMMY SUPERFLY". Another time while working there, I swung on a thick rope from the 20 foot elevated indoor running track while wearing a cadet cape to look like Zorro. The boys noticed the boss coming so I hid the cape. He came in and said, "who was swinging on the rope"? I said, "It was me". He said, "you're going to get me in trouble. I was talking to the college commandant, and as our heads were turning toward here I noticed from across the field a person swinging back and forth through the huge windows and knew it was one of you guys so I distracted him and pointed to something else before he noticed". My boss was cool about it and asked us not to do it anymore then we had a big laugh.
To world renowned Master Chan who I spent several years with learning Shaolin / Tai Chi - Kung Fu and weapons from before becoming a stuntman. It was a sad day for us when I told him I have to leave to live my dream. His martial art system is an intricate chain link defense battle plan passed down to him from his master and polished even more. He demanded hard work and dedication, day in and day out. The training was gruelling, strenuous, genuine, intense, traditional and painful, but acheived the desired results over time. I broke both of my hands the first month so Sifu had me practice more kicks for 6 to 8 weeks while I healed. Then we did special training of my hands and they were never broken again.
I had gone to many dojo's searching for animal moves like Bruce Lee's Chinese system. On my birthday while walking downtown I stumbled across Master Chan's club and entered only to be invited to train that night for free. That was one special day. He was a real Chinese Master steeped in tradition. I noticed the punching bag had blood on it and wondered how it got there. I learned how that night because the skin had been removed from some of my knuckles. After class he asked me if I wanted to come back to be his student but he wanted my word that I would train hard and use his system only for good. I gave him my word not realizing what I was getting in to. We trained 6 days a week. Enrollment was always low and many people came and went because of the hard training.Those who remained developed a special bond.
I developed my work ethic in the crucible of repititious movements and hand to hand combat training within the gaze of Master Chan. He would send me to train in different martial arts at other clubs to learn their system, then we would disect it for strenghths and weaknesses, what was good for battle and what wasn't. Eventually Sifu had to close his club downtown and while we were cleaning up he said to me, "you come to my house and train". I said, "thanks Sifu". In the winter we trained in his living room and we built a 20 by 25 stone slab floor in his backyard for summer training. Those training sessions were spectacular. One on one with the Master.
One time big Joe came from out of town to train and Sifu told me to try to escape from him but not to attack, only defend. It wasn't easy but he never got me and Sifu couldn't stop laughing the whole time. Joe's big arms and legs flying as he cornered me, but fast footwork, anticipation and perfectly timed blocks were essential because I didn't want to be hit by this big man. I learned alot that day. Master Chan taught me to teach the old and the young and had me run classes at the local YMCA. He is a man of few words with big action. Every Friday night we would go to Tim Horton's donut shop (a real Canadian experience) and have a coffee. He emphasized thinking independantly.

Mike Martelle,"The Math Librarian", (www.grizzlygym.com) is a top Mixed Martial Arts Champion and a student of Master Chan. He was a 14 year old boy when he came to train with us at the YMCA. He is now the teacher there and has been for several years, has his own club and has a long list of credentials which you can see at his site above. He still continues to make the trip from Kingston to train with Master Chan in Toronto periodically.If you need a trained bodyguard, he is one of the best in the world. The UFC is just ahead for him. Mike is a real gentleman.
Also at 24 I found out world famous stuntman Spanky Spangler was going to be in Toronto as a guest on "The Dini Petty Show" so I took the day off work and drove 2.5 hours down the 401 on my Honda 400 cc motorcyle to meet him. Spanky only had a minute but he encouraged me to pursue my dream, then I got on my motorcycle and drove back to Kingston. A few years later I drove to Phoenix to try and find Spanky. I found his number in the phone book, called him and he remembered the guy on the motorcycle and invited me to his home. I have talked with Spanky about doing a gag together someday and he is interested.
After the stunt course was over I rented two video cameras and rode my bike off a 40 foot cliff into water mimicking a stunt Dar Robinson did on "Magnum Force" driving his motorcycle off an aircraft carrier 100 feet high and soon after that I did a 40 foot high fall for a Queen's University student film, packed my bags and moved to Vancouver in April 1991. My first paying stunt was two months later. I had become a professional stuntman. My dream had come true.
After a career ending injury in 1998, I learned a little bit more about who I was, what I was made of and how much I wanted to be a stuntman. All 5 doctors at the hospital said my career was over and they may have to amputate. But if the surgery is successful my career is still over and I'll be behind a desk in an office job for the rest of my life. My knee had dislocated blowing the acl, lcl and pcl ligaments off the bone and fracturing the tibea plateau. The ligaments were reattached with screws and bone from my hip was used to reconstruct the plateau. The doc who put me back together wrote in the official report, "The prognosis for this type of injury remains quite grave. Most patients are unable to return to a labouring career, and in his case, I do not think that he will be able to return to his job as a STUNTMAN". This was another opportunity to trust the Lord and see what he wanted to do. I had to relearn how to get out of bed, step, walk, jump, skate and run, doing special exercises at physio 2 times a week. And more at home. The leg was mangled. I had to give it my best shot because I had to make it back.
Up until this point all my efforts seemed in vain as the doc and two different physio therapist's said it's over but at the 12 month mark into the rehab I went in to see the doc for another routine looksee. He does the "lockman test" and goes numb. His eyes glazed over and he whispers under his breath, "I don't believe it". Then he stands up and walks toward the door as if to leave, maybe to go check his notes on me and I jokingly said, "does this mean I can go back to stunts Doc?". He stops, pauses, then wheels around and say's, "yeah". And I shouted. The loose knee had somehow tightened up. He told me I can learn to skate, play hockey and return as a stuntman. The doc wrote another report, "Mr. Broyden is now approximately one year from surgery. He has made a nearly miraculous improvement with near range of motion with minimal pain and muscle bulk has returned. X-rays were reviewed and showed a healed tibial plateau fracture and a well aligned knee. This man has indeed a very unusually good outcome... but has much work to do at strenghthening and then he can resume his career as a STUNTMAN... he is certainly one of my most motivated patients". Guts To Glory!
It took another year after that and the 2 year total of rehab was gruelling but the comeback was made to full mobility after 2 years plus. Along the way I discarded a wheelchair, crutches, my Gramps cane and a custom leg brace. When I first got busted up I received a call from one of the guys in the stunt group who had heard about my career ending injury and said, "now that your career is over what are you going to do?" I said, "my career's not over and I'm coming back. I'm gonna trust the Lord with the outcome." He didn't like that and said I should seriously think about retiring. I realized then that his call was to discourage me and it was confirmed because he never called again, never hired me and avoided me on the movie sets after I made the comeback. Such is man. Put no trust in man, but trust God.

Paul the Apostle which I am not had few friends because of his love for Christ and the boldness and courage to preach the word. He suffered much persecution, suffering and trials. But the Lord sustained him.
The man whose stunt course I had taken in 1990, was in town from Toronto coordinating a tv series and he was the first one to hire me after the comeback. I had never worked with him and he hadn't heard I got busted up but loved the 12 inch scar on my knee and understood what it ment to make a comeback. GUTS TO GLORY.
The Lord taught me to trust him in the dark when the situation seemed insurmountable.
I have learned and continue to learn that, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)
"For we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those that love him and to those who are the called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28-30).
I am now in the process of organizing a World Record Highfall of 350 feet from a helicopter to an air bag for Down Syndrome and contacting potential sponsors world wide. Then I'll break the 400 foot mark at a later date. Dar Robinson currently holds the record at 311 feet from a helicopter to an airbag which he set in 1979. I watched him live on TV as a kid at 14 years old and said one day I'll do that and Lord willing now it's time to fulfill that dream. Stig Gunther has the record from a crane to an airbag of 343 feet(guiness world record)he set in 1998. A custom air bag has to be made. From a gag of this caliber we will help organizations and people with "Down Syndrome" and various soul winning ministries and invite underpriviledged children to be part of something unique.
My wife and me launched the JIMMY BROYDEN DOWN SYNDROME FOUNDATION Inc. We are now waiting for non-profit/charitable status. One of my boys has DS. At one of the finest hospitals after many tests the specialists took my wife and I to a secret room telling us our baby has chromozonal damage and will die in the womb within 3 days and that we should abort. I said, "No thanks, we'll trust the Lord". A few months later Little Josiah was born with DS and had open heart surgery at 3.5 months old - he is now 7 years old and just ran by being chased by the 3 stooges (his 3 brothers). I love my Josiah. He's my buddy. If you asked me if I wanted a son who would have been the greatest stuntman ever or take Josiah. I'll keep my Jo. He changed my life. The good Lord knows what He is doing. We love these special people with DS and with the Lord's help our family will be a blessing to them. We desire to travel as a family all over the world and love them. Lord willing I"ll do highfalls for DS in every country and raise funds in their region, for their region.
The record highfall is a big endeavour but I recall how David defeated Goliath because of his faith in the Lord for He had helped him defeat a lion and a bear before he faced the giant. This gag is my Goliath. I have a 17 year career of experience to draw on, a career ending injury I wasn't supposed to come back from not to mention all the other trials of life which strengthen us and show us that our SAVIOR is really alive and cares. "The horse is prepared for the day of battle but victory belongs to the Lord".Proverbs 21:31

Another dream of mine since I was a kid is to race in the BAJA 250, 500 and 1000. If anyone needs a passenger or a driver give me a shout. I'd love to learn the ropes.I need a 69-71 VW Bug that will be the race car.
Also to the lunch hour boyz from Planet Ice Hockey Arena, with whom I have played hockey with at lunch hour for the past 8 years and made many big plays and many memories. My favorite shot is the slapshot.I come screaming down the left wing, get into my favorite spot and blast a howitzer over the glove, top corner.I do it all the time. That's my money in the bank shot! Many times it "dings" off the inside of the post and in. The goalies know it's comin, but they have a hard time stopping it.If there is no opening over the glove I shoot at whatever opening the goalie gives me. I cannot explain to you the exhiliration of blasting that shot as hard as possible as I'm skating at full speed with a man or two on me or in pursuit and have the puck find it's target with pin point accuracy.
Just as I'm winding up for the shot time slows down, I can almost hear my heart beat; slow motion as I watch the puck come off my stick and my eyes follow it as it saucers over the goalies outstretched glove into the top corner. You have to be a hockey player to understand. Chuck L. (58), is an old timer and one of the fellas I play hockey with. He puts some of the young guys to shame with his skill and effort. Him and I have made alot of big plays over the years resulting in tons of pucks in the back of the net.Chuck was one of my favorite guys to set up because he knew I would find a way to get him the puck, so he would position himself in the slot and I would feed him.I love setting guys up. I invited him to come out and watch the pipe roll. Just a few minutes before the gag he says to me, "top corner baby, just like on the ice Jimmy". Those words from Chuck at that moment totally relaxed me and a big smile erupted. I said, "That's right Chuck, top corner". Then I got focused.
And Wayne W. a personal trainer who has trained some of the best athletes/olympians in the world out of Canada Games. He gave me many specific training tips for leg strengthening regarding my knee injury and many more little tips over the years at no charge. One day I asked him,"why do you help me so much?". He told me, "In all the years of my training I have never seen anyone work as hard as you. You're relentless". I took all his tips to the next level and he continued to give me more. He is a seasoned pro. Thanks Wayne. You made the difference.

A Vancouver Stunt Coordinator was one of the first to hire me as a stuntman. He taught me the intracacies of stunt coordinating. He told me about Christ on a movie set 13 years ago. On that day he also gave me a New Testament and prayed for me. A couple months before I had come to realize in my heart there had to be a God of the universe, but who was it? So I began reading the Gospel Of John the next day, and spent hours per day in the back of my pick up truck learning about Jesus and within a month had finished all 27 books of the New Testament, some of the O.T. like Daniel, Ezekiel, Psalms, Proverbs realizing I was a sinner and only Christ Jesus could save me from my sins. I also realized I didn't want to spend eternity in Hell and that Jesus defeated death, hell and the grave. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father, but through Me". John 14:6.
Bible Prophecy had made a huge impact on me and I wasn't even saved yet. I couldn't believe that this Jesus might be real. But it's only a book I thought. But something inside made it clear that what I was reading was true. The Book Of The Revelation blew my mind. I knew Jesus was coming back! And from reading the gospels and epistles I knew it could be be Soon!!! Satan used every trick in the book to convince me not to surrender to Christ.
During this period of time I had a dream one night that my car flipped over and crashed upside down on the roof coming to a stop beside the sidewalk. I knew I was dead. Down the sidewalk I noticed a white figure coming towards me and he came to the car, put out his hand,I took it and He helped me out.As we walked down the sidewalk I still held His hand and realized life was given back to me and I knew everything was going to be okay. It seemed to me that it was Jesus but I never saw a face. I don't put alot of stock in dreams but this one was so vivid and overwhelming. A couple days later the big test came when I realized that Jesus is God and He is sovereign while reading the Gospel Of John. He said,"Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am". John 8:58.

Having done drugs for 17 years, I couldn't break it's grip so I looked up at the ceiling toward heaven and said "Lord, if you're real like it say's in the bible and all those amazing things you did and you rose from the grave, get me off dope then I'll know your real and I'll follow you".
In the parables Christ tells us about the man that counts the cost before he goes to war and another man before he builds his house that he may finish it. Because to get started following the Lord and not finish, not count the cost would bring shame to Him. I had counted the cost wanting to go all the way and have fruit 30, 60, 100 fold. So I knew what I was asking when I asked to be set free from drugs. If Jesus could do this I would know He was alive and loved me. Well, I was sitting on my motorcycle waiting for the light to turn green one day when all of the sudden I realized I hadn't done drugs in 2 weeks, never even thought about them. Drug addicts don't do that. You think about dope 24/7. I'd been hooked since I was 11 years old.
Immediately I pulled over and felt the tears run down my face over the realization that JESUS IS ALIVE! It was time to keep my word and follow Him. So I bowed my knee and my heart knowing I was a sinner and asked Him to forgive me, be my Savior and save me. I was born again and saved, transformed from the inside out and instantly learned that there is no high like the MOST HIGH GOD!!! Taste and see that the LORD is good! I no longer desired to do dope and haven't for 14 years. Thank you Lord. I made my public profession at the Coordinator's house with his family on September 7, 1993, then six days later on September 13, 1993, I turned on the news and watched Prime Minister of Israel Yitsak Rabin and Yasser Arafat sign a monumental peace treaty in the Middle East on the front lawn of the White House with President Clinton. There will never be true peace in the Middle East or the world for that matter until the Prince Of Peace returns.

I was in a stunt group called "The Action Team" and with much enthusiasm told my fellow stuntmen and other stunt people all over town what the Lord had done for me. It didn't go over to well and word got out that Broyden flipped his wig for JESUS. One of the head guys of the group called me and said if I promised not to talk about Jesus on the movie sets anymore I could stay in the group. I was only 3 months in the Lord and knew if I stood for Christ my career was over. But boldness, courage and the love for my Savior and this man's lost condition rose up within and I said to him, "I don't expect you to understand this but the Lord just got me off 17 years of drug abuse. I don't know how He did it, but He did and saved me as well. People need to know what Jesus did for me. He set me free. And He loves you too." Then I proceeded to give him the gospel. He told me I was out of the group and that I should name my company Stunts For Jesus (that's where 'Impact Stunts for Christ' came from).
He was upset. I then went over to my bed, prayed and said "Lord my stunt career is over but I'll follow you no matter what and please save Marc." Three days later that same man called back and said he made a mistake and I was back in the group
"And indeed, all who desire to live Godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted." 2 Timothy 3:12
"For the word of the cross is to those who are perishing foolishness, but to us who are being saved it is the POWER (dynamite) of God". 1 Corinthians 1:18.
"But the natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised". 1 Corinthians 2:14.
When you don't follow the crowd people think it strange. I can't and don't want to play the political games. Can't do like they're doin... You can imagine a new Christian in love with a Savior who got me off drugs. I would do anything for Him. All He wanted me to do was tell people about Him and what He did for me. And I did. It was like letting a hungry lion out of it's cage, guns blazin. Because of my personality I tend to go to the extreme of things even overboard, but I'm learning balance now. I figured everyone would want to know about the Lord. I was free from drugs and met the living God of the universe who wanted to have a relationship with me, love me and gave me eternal life.
All these years later I still love the Lord the same but try to use wisdom and experience when dealing with unbelievers. I'm not in your face like I used to be, but at the same time you're not knocking me off the "ROCK" Christ Jesus.I have heard every story of how the Bible is false and Jesus is dead, etc. Don't you believe it. The Bible is approximately 30% prophetic. Which means God said certain events would happen regarding the birth, life, death, burial and resurrection of Christ Jesus. All this came to pass and there is more to fulfill regarding the time of the end and His return. No other book has ever fortold the future. It's 100% accurate. God told us what would happen. There is no other Book in the world like this one, "The Word of God". Christ changed my life.
"All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work".

There is a price to pay to follow Jesus and He will help you. NO CROSS NO CROWN.
My wife asked me "what is more painful: to have had a dream and never lived it or to have lived a dream and it comes to an end?" My dream isn't over yet.It burns within. I just keep pushing on. There are always bumps in the road. "The Pocket Rocket" Henri Richard, a retired NHL hockey player said, "all I have ever dreamed of was playing hockey with my older brother "The Rocket" Maurice Richard for the Montreal Canadiens and win the Stanley Cup. He did all this winning 11 Stanley Cups. When asked what he he was going to do now that he was retired he responded that he had only ever dreamed about playing hockey and had never dreamed about his life after hockey.
I also haven't thought about what I'll do after stunts because I'm not there yet, I have a world record to pull off, I'm in top physical condition and I'm going to do highfalls all around the world to raise money for people with Down Syndrome. I'm not going to roll over and die because a few men won't hire me. I started my film company - ON FIRE FILMS. All I have ever dreamed of was being a stuntman and doing stunts. It is what I have worked toward my whole life and now the Lord has a new work for me and it involves my 3 greatest passions; Christ, Family and Stunts. He makes a way where there is no way. I grew up watching Dar Robinson and Spanky Spangler performing gags on "That's Incredible" and knew I was one of them.
For those of you who know the Lord, please pray for His will to be done in my life and that I would become less and Him become more.
For all you stuntmen and stunt women I have worked with over the years, it's been a pleasure and I look forward to doing gags with you many more times. I'm still praying for your salvation :) The lure of money and power has mislead many of you which has led to divorce and the suffering of your children which happens in any business when you make your family second. Family is most important. Fame and fortune is empty. Only Jesus can fill that void, emptiness in your heart you feel mostly at night in bed when you are alone with your thoughts. He loves you and has the POWER to save your souls and restore your marriages if you'll only repent and trust Him. Character is who you really are when no one is looking.

Something else I've learned is although a person say's they are a Christian or they say they love Jesus doesn't mean it's true. You'll know them by their fruit. By the life they live and by the biblical doctrine they believe the genuine or counterfeit becomes evident over time. Many people within the film industry and also those not in the industry have told me over the years they love Christ, but the funny thing is they don't want anyone else to know. They don't want to talk about Him and they don't live for Him or obey Him.
One night on the movie set between takes of near misses with cars, a guy who claimed to be a Christian slipped into the passenger seat and said, "hey Jimmy, are you suffering persecution from other stunt guys for following the Lord? "Yeah, it's part of the package when you follow Christ.", I replied. That guy claims to be a Christian when with us, but acts and speaks differently around unbelievers and stays clear away from me on movie sets. Many people live like hell 6 days a week, then go to church on Sunday and pretend, thinking they are Christians. Hey I'm not perfect and I make mistakes but the pattern of my life is different than it was.
It would be like me saying I am a pro musician. As soon as you heard me play and sing you'd plug your ears, cry and run. But as soon as you saw me fall downs stairs or get hit by a car on a film set, etc... you know I am a pro stuntman. Besides, I have a stunt reel, stills and footage of my gags; all the stunt contracts of every show worked on. Then there are the stunt players and Directors I have worked with. Scars, doctor reports and body parts that don't function like they used to, all add up to... you guessed it - the genuine article. When Jesus lives on the inside your forever changed. Now those people who knew me before I became a Christian know Broyden has changed. You say I'm weird now. But I'm not. I see more clearly than ever. Yes, I have changed my ways and I live for Him 7 days a week. Jesus has changed me from the inside out. A metamorphosis occured.
Is your salvation genuine or counterfeit?

To RV and Mrs. G, who took me in at 16 after I left home. I've been through alot with them. They are incredible. As we speak they should be in retirement but are sacrificing that to raise their 10 year old grand daughter.
Like I said earlier my wife is a special lady. She had a dream one year before we met that she was going to marry a stuntman and I had been asking the Lord for a godly wife for 3.5 years. I had been invited to a bible study and upon arriving our eyes met, and I said to myself, "Lord, that's the woman I'm going to marry isn't it". Within 5 months we were married and the Lord gave us a honeymoon baby and many more since. I love her and my children very dearly.
You need a Savior.
Jesus says, "COME TO ME ALL WHO ARE WEARY AND HEAVY-LADEN, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST. TAKE MY YOKE UPON YOU, AND LEARN FROM ME, FOR I AM GENTLE AND HUMBLE IN HEART; AND YOU SHALL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. FOR MY YOKE IS EASY, AND MY LOAD IS LIGHT."

NOTE : Keep your eye on Israel as we are living in the Last Days. Current events tell us this world is spinning wildly out of control. What appears to the world to be chaos is evidence to the Christian that God is still on His Throne. Check out the players who simultaneously attack Israel in Ezekiel chapters 38 & 39 and are defeated by the God of Israel, The Lord Of Lords and The King Of Kings. Now Daniel chapter 9 & 12, Matthew 24 & Revelation chapter 13 - the Anti christ brings a false peace to the region then rages war until the True Prince Of Peace returns. But before this Tribulation period the Rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 ) will take place - possibly in our lifetime , where Jesus takes His Bride ( His body the true church, whose names are written in the Lamb's Book Of Life ), born again believers home to heaven for the Marriage Supper Of The Lamb. At mid-trib the Anti-Christ goes into the Holy of Holies which is in the soon to be built Jewish Temple and declares himself to be God. At some point in the tribulation he will also institute the mark of the beast which goes in your right hand or forehead and no man can buy or sell unless you have this mark (Revelation 13). Don't take it or you will forfeit your opportunity for salvation. At the end of the 7 years Jesus returns with His saints.(Revelation 19:11-21).

I realize this may be upsetting you right now but you MUST know the TRUTH. I realize you want to get to heaven your way, but you can't because Jesus said, HE IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN. Don't play russian roulette with your eternity. You have sin in you which was inherited from Adam & Eve. Jesus died for you, taking upon Him your sin debt and paid it in full. But your part is to make a conscious decision and accept His FREE gift of salvation on His terms not yours. Christ died to save sinners. He allowed Himself to be ridiculed, crucified and gave His life that you might live and be forgivin. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. This is serious, this is no joke.
If you were crossing the street and a truck was about to hit you, wouldn't you want someone to warn you? At that moment you were in danger and you didn't even know it. But then someone yelled to you "LOOKOUT!", and you jumped out of the way and were thankful to them for warning you. Without realizing it you're on a collision course with an eternity without Christ in the "Lake Of Fire." But God the Father provided a way of escape for you.
