I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4Most folks who know me, dont know I was actually born in Asheville, North Carolina and moved to the DC suburbs in 1984. Basically grew up with a loving and supportive extended family. Man...I got so many "cousins" (yall know how we do).Anyway, I was fortunate enough to make a trip to Black Unity Day in Atlanta in 1989 and fell in love with Clark Atlanta University. In those days, and I think it still may be, CAU was where the AUC met. I was able to find my niche there and havnt stopped since. Just took my show on the road for a while. Chitown, Maryland (DC), New York (killed it), and now im back in Atlanta.People always ask, Jamal, what do you do?? I always say.... WHATEVER I WANT TO.
