My Interests

When I'm not working on soccer-mom-mobiles of N.C., most of the time I'm just hanging out with friends, tippin beers and watching mucho mucho movies. Not into sports, I don't watch basketball, football, baseball or any of that shyte unless someone else wants to watch it in which case I'll watch the occasional game (preferrably hockey). I've been known to go camping with a side of off-roading from time to time. My main obsessions are cars and snowboarding. I've had a passion for cars since the first time I saw them Duke boys slidin' around in the dirt when I was like 4. I recently developed an addiction to drift racing. Whether it be D1 Grand Prix, Formula D, or just some demo, all I know is I love the smell of tire smoke in the mornin'. I enjoy cart racing on the weekends and anytime I can squeeze it in during the week. I also hope to start auto-crossing as soon as I find a suitable car. I got the snowboarding itch about 5 years ago and I haven't been able to stop scratchin' it since.

I'd like to meet:

I would really like to meet Bradley Knowell of sublime fame. I used to listen to him all the time and almost got to see him once long ago. His music set a soundtrack to such a large chunk of my life, I wish I could have at least seen him perform before he was taken away by the big bad needle. I'd also like to go riding with Kevin Jones cause he's the shiznit. Most of all I'd like to meet my Grandfather (father's father) because he died long before I was around, and rumor has it, he had 3 wives at the same time!

Music:

Everything EXCEPT country! Ha! J/K, I won't give you that bullshit response. Though country is far from my favorite, I have jammed to Garth Brooks in the car once or twice (windows up of course). I like listening to a lot of sad bastard rock like, Jimmy eat world, The Postal Service, Death cab for Cutie, and The Shins, but I fucking hate Coldplay. I grew up listening to ska and punk so I still haven't given up on bands like Less Than Jake, Mustard Plug, The B.Lee band, Rancid, NOFX and especially Weezer(they just have a timeless quality that keeps me there). I have also developed a bit of a taste for super Heavy-Metal. Since drinking with Dr. Johnson, I've been listening to bands like Still Remains(my favorite), White Zombie, Gorelord, and Some Deftones. I also like listening to of course Bob Marley, Fugazi, Alkaline Trio(is awesome) and a some of Jack Johnson's stuff. I like Jurassic 5, Mos-Def, The Roots, and A Tribe Called Quest. I still hold a special place in my heart for good ol' Ghetto rap like Method Man, Master P, and Dr. Dre. I like cruising down the street blastin Frank Sinatra, but you can't deny it, you fuckin' love it!

Movies:

Man, there are to many. Here we go...Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Ski Patrol, Encino Man, Out Cold, Frostbite, Dumb and Dumber, the Great Outdoors, Friday the 13th, The Shining, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, From Dusk Til' Dawn, Optigrab, Once Upon A Time In Mexico, The 3 Amigos, The 3 Caballero's, Goodfellas, Office Space, Mystery Alaska, Boondock Saints, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, 10000 Miles to Graceland, Sin City, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, The Big Lebowski, Groundhog's Day... Thats all I can think of right now.

Television:

I really dont like the shit they have on TV nowadays, and a hate it even more that I find myself watching some of it. I like watching mostly programs on Comedy Central, The Learning Channel, The Discovery Channel, and Cartoon Network. I love watching the "Garage Shows" like Overhaulin'(my friend Tronica edits for the show), American Hotrod. I also watch Extreme Homes, Saved By the Bell reruns, That 70's show(before the recast), The Family Guy, The Simpsons(still supreme), Robot Chicken, Entourage, and yes, I have been caught watching The Real World.

Books:

Don't Stand Too Close To a Naked Man-Tim Allen

Heroes:

My Parents, Devun Walsh, Craig Kelly, Ken Gushi (the Gush).
