A little about my band Factor 7.The band got its start 9 years ago. Me and my nephew both have had music in our lives since we were kids. One day after playing and recording in his house we came to the conclusion that we could move a lot faster with a bass player and a drummer not to mention be a full fledged band. We hooked up with long time friend Danny Jackson who plays drums and Bass player Rob Kiskaden and soon we were playing gigs, recording music, and finishing our first album (Gluttony). We didnt stop there. We also were invited to work on a tribute album for one of the 80s biggest guitar heros. George Lynch from the band Dokken. Not only did we record a song for it but I also provided vocals for an additional song on the album. It was an international collaboration bringing together musicians from the USA, Canada, the UK and New Zealand. The CD covered some of George Lynch's most memorable tracks from the Dokken and Lynch Mob era, including classics like Kiss of Death (FACTOR 7), Tooth and Nail and Mr. Scary.George was really impressed by the musicianship and was touched that the fans recorded a tribute to him and his music.Tracks received airplay on The Classic Metal Show and a several radio shows in Canada. The CD received rave reviews from Metal Magazine Hard Rock Haven, and fans alike. The CD is still available through Jay Pamars website (SACRED SERPENT)Anyway after a short break from the action Factor 7 is now back to work on there Sophomore effort taken past sounds and combining them with the new rock styles of today that will be sure to please all of the hard rock fans out there. We presently have two new tracks up right now with more to follow. CHECK THEM OUT!
