the grace

Early 2006, drummer Paul Everett and guitarist Alex Williamson are looking to start a new band. Born from the ashes of their old band, they had new ideas and were looking for a new direction. Paul had attended a music college in croxteth, liverpool and there he had met Chris Pearce. Chris played bass and was invited to their first rehearsal in a small boxing gym. They knew after that first rehearsal that their playing fit and the band was created.
The Grace started off playing cover songs live. they did this to gain more and more experience in gigging and learn as much as they could in the music industry. They started off playing in small clubs around Liverpool and were lucky enough to play at The Cavern early on in their career. They became more and more popular and saw that their ambition gave only to their musicianship.
Not satisfied with just performing cover songs, the band set about writing their own material. Demoing songs to the public as they went, nuturing their own sound and creating well honed and interesting songs.
Riding on their popularity and as their music matured, the band continued to work at their music and decided to record an EP at Red Cat Studios in September 2006. The EP was a huge success and they were very encouraged by the response.
The Grace remain committed to live performance, constantly looking to improve their playing and improve their sound. They're planning to play more of their new material and support their fellow musicians and friends.
They want their music, ideas and playing to speak for itself. They have a new, interesting and different approach to rock music that has never been heard before. The music they've created is born from their own unique experiences and style and will not get out of your head. They are the sound of the future and want everyone to join in their music, their thoughts and enjoying the experience of The Grace.
