Carrot to Myspace - Do you copy?
Every day, technology is continuing to grow more and more--similar to the blue whale. When one isn't hooked to their iPod or Blackberry device, they are spending countless hours on Facebook, updating a video journal on YouTube, or letting out their latest dream, thought, or feeling through Twitter. Is MySpace dying or have people simply grown out of it? I definitely donâ€™t know since I have been absent for some time.
Within the last year I have been occupied with countless things, from comforting a friend over the unfortunate passing of their father and giving my best to my job in order to survive countless layoffs to repairing my only means of transportation after a severe flood and dealing with legal matters presented by a lost and lonely person. In between all of this and countless other things, I may have signed into MySpace a total of 10 times.
I may still drop in on MySpace from time to time, but I will also attempt to make myself more available to those who had moved on or are in the process of moving on to other forms of communication. I also plan to keep those who care informed about my next decision in life. Lifeâ€™s challenges and changes provide opportunities for us to grow. We will see what lies ahead.
