UniverSouls music gives the world an in depth look inside the life of the Black American Male who does not subscribe to the thug life theme that as saturated contemporary Hip-Hop music. To the contrary, E-Reals lyrics tap into the pulse of African American life. He speaks from the black working class perspective, he is an advocate for black families and it is self evident in his portrayal of the black experience.A veteran of the rap game, E-Real has been around the scene for a long time and has paid his dues ten times over. First as a part of the Hip-Hop trio Black Anger, where he honed his lyrical skills and stage presence. Deemed The Lyrical Assassin by his cohorts, E-Reals flow personified his straightforward view toward life complimenting the abstract verbal lesson delivered by the 3rd Eye Assassin Kindu. Black Anger released their first single Feel What I Feel on K Records in 1995. Simultaneously taking the northwest underground Hip-Hop Scene by storm. It was impossible to come to the North West and sleep on Black Anger during the 1990s. The Trio has graced the stage with such artist as: Run-DMC, Dialated Peoples, The Alcoholics, Pharcyde Del The Funky Homosapian, Souls of Mischeif, Raekwon, Red Man, and the list goes on and on.
