Read on to find out a bit about me! I am a 2nd year uni student, studying Microbiology at the University of Surrey, and loving it! I basically study lots of micro-organisms and a bit of human physiology and pharmacology. I got 63% so far for year 1 and half of year 2, and this semester I am studying my stronger modules, so hopefully I can push it up to a 1st... Some of my other peculiar interests are: Short track speed skating, dance mats and guitar hero on PS2 (lol), any kind of computer game, watching films, listening to dance music, eBay-ing, going to the gym, cooking, not cooking, juggling, playing saxophone (mine is red & gold!), playing bass guitar (badly), general ice skating sessions, keeping fit, gelling/dying my hair and chilling out.I'm going to the 2007 World University Winter Games, in Turin, representing GB and my uni. Awesome!!!Uni games was wicked, best experience of my life!I now have recently taken up climbing at my uni, and the occasional circuit training session...

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Owen Wilson, he is my favourite actor, I'd like to meet him just to see if he talks like he does in films in real life! (Luke Wilson is ok too I guess, but not as good as Owen Wilson!!!)

Music:

I LOVE DANCE MUSIC!!! (especially, but also House, Trance, Electronica etc.) However, I do generally like all the other genres of music as well. I quite like Muse and Pusscycat Dolls. Check out Amateur Transplants, funny as hell. Two medical students make up some funny songs. Favourite song atm = Everytime We Touch by Cascada, Favourite non-dance song = Chop Suey! (by System of a Down. God damn it I love this song) Another favourite is FIRESTARTER by The Prodigy.

Movies:

I love films loads and loads. I love comedy films, and especially silly/stupid films. I hate horror films that are just gory for the sake of it, such as Saw. My fav. film would definately have to be THE GIRL NEXT DOOR, or anything with Owen Wilson in (especially I SPY). I prefer modern films to old films, and I have watched more films than I can count.

Television:

I mainly like comedy. Arrested Development. Introduced to me by my American pal Dan at uni. (I miss you Dan!) This program is just pure genius, seriously! The way it all fits together is just flawless. And it is so funny too. It's not that good the first few times you watch it, but once you get to know each individual character, the fun really begins..... I have watched all 3 seasons of Arrested Development now, very sad that there are no moreAlso: FRIENDS, SCRUBS AND FUTURAMA ARE AWESOME!!! (Family Guy is ok I guess...)*******NEW****** HOUSE This program has helped me with my degree so much. It's awesome. I learn this kinda stuff on my course. It is very good for revision!! UGLY BETTY, AND SKINS ARE FRICKIN' AWESOME TOO
