Band Members: I've fired some people from my imaginary band... so here's where we are at present: Vox- MOI; Bass- D. Free; Tambourine- Tesha; SPOONS- Dessa Rife (aka the fake brit)
Influences: i think everything around me influences me... but if i have to name people, i'll say my grandma and mom; the clark sisters vocally; babyface and lionel richie for their writing styles; stevie wonder and prince musically; mick jagger vocally and as an entertainer; BONNIE RAIT vocally; winona judd vocally; nina simone for longevity... and Nancy Wilson... ARETHA FRANKLIN for crossing so many genres... there are too many to name, so i'll stop now;-) if i left anybody off, charge it to my head... (oh, vickie winans for how she HANDLES her BIZNESS... really tho!)
Sounds Like: my family... we ALL have basically the same voice, although we vary on the scale where vocal acrobatics are concerned... i'm somewhere in the middle of that spectrum... but if we're in the studio doing bgv, u canNOT tell us apart in terms of tone/timbre...
