myspace clocks Regarded as one of hip hop's most promising newcomers, KINGDEMM pounds his way onto the music scene with lyrical knock-outs and infectious beats from Hip Hop veteran DJ Scratch and rising star producer Devon "Devo" Harris (John Legend) on his debut album.Born in Brooklyn, KINGDEMM was raised in Flatbush listening to hip hop greats such as Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick and Rakim, who would ultimately become his inspiration and the driving force behind his own musical style. In the early 1990's, KINGDEMM formed Red Phantmz, a hip hop group, with friends L-Blades and Mennace. The group recorded and performed shows before dissolving in 1999 so members could pursue their individual careers. KINGDEMM never stopped his passionate pursuit of creating music, endlessly generating lyrics and poetry and eventually getting critical acclaim in the publication Lyrical Times. As he honed his skills as a solo artist on the mic and on stage, KINGDEMM never lost site of his dreams of bringing true hip hop back to radio. His style is street without promoting gangsta culture, yet lamenting on times passed when real gangstas ruled - the KINGS.KINGDEMM's dynamic style and originality is reminiscent of Jay Z (he posseses the rare talent to remember every lyric and never write it down) and Notorious B.I.G (his delivery is hypnotic, and makes the listener nostalgic for real Hip Hop). KINGDEMM bridges the gap between social commentator and lifestyle promoter, living and experiencing all facets of life. Though new on the scene, KINGDEMM's talent has already caught the attention of stars such as Nas, Ashton Kutcher, Kelis, Josh Lucas and many more who attended a rare live performance at Joe's Pub in NYC.What sets KINGDEMM apart from everyone else?
