G-man was born in one of sanfrancisco's most dangerous neiborhoods Sunnydale A.K.A the swamp.This is where G-man ran around and played as a kid, A place were gunshots,robbery and drug dealin is an every day thing.
When he turned 13 G-man moved Down the street to the Geneva Towers A.K.A the Towerside,this is were G-man got involved in the streets, and were he began rappin at age 14.Since then G-man has been known as a hood rapper,him and his group the D.O.P was recording songs for the hood that never really went anywhere,because of lack of outlets to get the music out there.But in 97' a friend from the towerside Howy T began recording on his album and later released it in 99' and he did it all by himself,letting G-man know that by staying focused and determined any thing is possible.So in 99' G-man founded Critical Records. And along with cousins Yayo & D-ray started recording promoting and networking.By 2001 G-man released his first album along with L-Chedda. An album desribing the hood life in the neiborhood he grew up in. and then went on to putting out 10 albums on Critical records between 01' and 05'. At one point and time G-man was Known as one of the hardest working rap artist in Sanfrancisco. and also one of the tightest lyricist.
