All of these songs started out with just my acoustic and my voice... I went back to basics a few years ago after playing a sideman in a number of bands around Seattle. Once I had some material written, I started playing open mics around town. I built up a good set list, and I went on to play a handful of solo acoustic shows over a year and a half. At some point in early 2006, I seemed to crack the shell on my voice... I solved some financial issues soon thereafter. As a result, I climbed out of debt and a bankruptcy, and was then able to buy a very efficient yet effective home studio. I've spent the last year (1/07 to 2/08) recording and posting these 6 songs in an effort to attract musicians and supporters who appreciate what I do. At this point I'm working with an excellent drummer who also produces many local t.v. and radio advertisements. His connections, resources and skills are pushing things in a very positive direction. The plan is: a full length ready for radio album over the next year or so and assembling a band- hopefully performing before 2009. Direction is clear, results may vary. Stay tuned...
