About Me

I'm a MHA graduate from Texas State (and very proud of being a Bobcat, too!) I have my dream job as a director in a hospital with the world's best boss and a great staff that work for me. I LOVE going to work everyday! My life is SO blessed with great friends and family! I'm also blessed with two beautiful daughters who make my life special just by being in it! I can't believe they're already 7 and 5. I try to enjoy every minute, cuz you never know what tomorrow may bring!........AND..... I have the BEST BOYFRIEND IN THE WORLD--who treats me like a princess and makes me feel loved and special every single day! Every girl should be lucky enough to have a guy like mine! I hope my girls are this blessed when they start dating...and I hope they're smart enough to appreciate a guy like him (I sure had to kiss a lot of frogs first :) just to realize how great a guy like him really is!) PLUS...he has two beautiful, sweet, smart daughters who my girls and I love to be around and who are great examples for my daughters to follow--plus they're lots of fun! And Doug is such a great example of what every father should be~he loves those girls like there's no tomorrow, talks about them all the time (you should see his eyes light up whenever he mentions them). He's so proud of who they are and so proud to be their dad~it melts my heart every time I see him with them.

My Interests

I love watching football (college and pro), camping, reading, going to the beach (or lake), hanging out with friends, playing cards, traveling, doing things with the four girls!

I'd like to meet:

Okay, seriously, none of these meetings are ever going to happen in real life--but when I want to meet someone "real" I just walk up to them (or wait for my sister to introuduce us--ha ha, but seriously E...no more!) Or, wait until he finally figures out that I'm not going to come up to him first (sorry, baby, but you took forever to figure that out) Goal for 2008, since I didn't make it in 2007, I want to meet the person who takes the tickets as you enter the stadium to watch the Dallas Cowboys play...it'll be my first time and I can't wait!!! :)

Music:

I like all kinds...okay, not really ALL kinds, but I do like a variety, depends on the mood I'm in (or the mood I'm trying to get in)

Movies:

Sweet Home Alabama, Boondock Saints, Wedding Date, Lord of the Rings, Gone in 60 Seconds, Star Wars, Glory Road, Top Gun, Ocean's Eleven, Miracle, Good Will Hunting, Fast and the Furious, XXX, Remember the Titans, X-Men...I love action movies (and the occasional chick flick)!

Television:

Football!! Grey's Anatomy (don't call me on Thursday nights between 8 and 9), the CSIs~and whatever Doug happens to be watching since he's usually already watching a show when I walk in the room : )

Books:

I can't even remember the last time I got to sit down and read. I started a book when my students were taking their tests, so I got about 1/4 of the way through~and now I couldn't even tell you where that book is : )

Heroes:

Mom and Dad always, my sister for coming so far, Bubba for putting up with E and I and all of our "issues" (you're the world's best brother), my friends who are truly my rocks when life gets to feel like quicksand; and people who TELL THE TRUTH...even when it hurts!
