Daniel Delgado - Husband, father, entrepreneur, teacher and pastor. A passionate and anointed preacher who’s passion is to build God’s kingdom. The son of Bernardino and Maria Delgado who have encouraged his passion to study God’s Word and gave him an example and legacy of service to God and His people.
The 10th of 11 kids, Daniel’s story starts as a promise from God to his mother. Having spoken to her that she would have a son who would be a vessel that would bring glory to the Almighty God, but satan tried to destroy the promise. Maria was informed at her 6th month of pregnancy that she would have to abort the child in order to save her life. Being a woman of faith she believed God’s promises and left the doctors office. That was 40 years ago.
Daniel’s ministerial career started as a preacher at the age of 5. Through the years he has served as Sunday School teacher, Seminary professor, Evangelist, Treasurer, Associate Pastor and Co-Pastor. Having served faithfully under Rev. Samuel and Eva Rodriguez (Third Day Believers Network) for 6 years where he was ordained to the office of Pastor, and most recently served for 5 years as Co-Pastor of El Shadday Ministry a Brazilian congregation in Long Island City, Queens who’s Senior Pastors are Rev. Dinarte and Mirian Vieira.Â
As of May 2007 along with his wife, they started a new church plant, Third Day Missions Church in the West Brighton section of Staten Island, as a continuation of the vision of Third Day Worship Center. Bishop Samuel Rodriguez and Pastor Eva Rodriguez serve as their spiritual covering. As part of a network of called Third Day Believers Network we share the passion to not conform to the status quo but live in the power of the resurrected Christ.Â
 In January of 2008 Bishop Samuel Rodriguez tapped him to serve as Regional Director of New York and New Jersey for The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, Americas largest Latino Evangelical organization serving over 20,000 churches and 16,000,000 Latino Evangelicals nationwide. In this capacity he has traveled to Washington to meet with national leaders regarding issues of immigration, education, poverty, and various social justice issues. In 2009 he was invited to serve on the Executive Board of The NHCLC as V.P. of Strategic Partnerships. In this new role he is able to endeavor in his passion to gather the resources of God’s Kingdom to impact communities around America .Â
Daniel and his wife Nancy have three beautiful daughters Danielle, Viviana, and Abigail. In 1999 God started to burden his heart for missions. After several missions trips to Central and South America, Daniel and Nancy launched Third Day Missions. A Christ centered nonprofit organization dedicated to serve as a bridge between vision and provision within the body of Christ to build His kingdom one soul at a time. “That None Should Perishâ€.
