.....UNITE RADIO LIVE STREAM.....www.unite-radio.com.....Hard Dance Internet Radio.....Live DJs with webcams playing from studios all over the world.....Busy chatroom, forums and galleries.....I'm a DJ, electrician and freelance IT chancer, living in Southend, Essex with my five cats . I play on Unite Radio (www.unite-radio.com) on Friday nights at 10.30pm UK time. I also like tinkering with cars and anything mechanical, radio equipment(check out my eQSO page here ), and all things electrical!
I have been DJing since I was 15, and have played many venues and events over the years. The best time was 1991-4, when I had residency at The Academy nightclub on the Isle of Man as DJ Krome. Got to meet a few big names and work with loads of mentalist people, and cut my teeth in the world of radio when I set up Toxic 103FM.
Returning to Essex in 1996 was a good move, and getting involved with the pirate radio scene was inevitable! Stations to name are Premier FM, Eruption, Shakedown, Renegade and Guv FM! They were good times too, and I made so many friends.
Now im concentrating on internet radio (www.unite-radio.com) as its safe and legal!I mix on Technics SL1200s and a custom Omnitronic MX540 mixer, using regular vinyl, and Stanton FinalScratch2 for playing digital files from an Acer Travelmate 243 Laptop. The audio for streaming to Unite is limited and compressed by a Behringer MX2200 then fed to a Behringer DSP1424 Ultramizer to fatten up the signal. A Behringer Feedback Destroyer DSP1124 ensures everything stays hum and whistle free. Also, im learning how to remix and produce tunes on PC using ACID Pro and FruityLoops, thanks to my mate Mr Greedy .
Cars are a bit of a passion for me, I follow the F1 and other series. I've dabbled in motorsports, and gained my High-Speed Oval Spotter's licence in 2006 to go racing with my friend Claire Thompson in the Pickup Truck Racing championship at Rockingham Motor Speedway.
