About Me

Cliche but work and play hard - its what I do. I'm a 26 yrs old FInancial Adviser, I work very hard during the week and like to spend the evenings chilling out with my mates in the pub/house then reading before bed (I'm old now eh?) at weekends is when things take off, I'm forever travelling within the UK and Europe, usually about two weekends every month I'm away from home visiting friends, family or heading into Europe for a city break. When I am around Manc though its the Northern Quarter then clubbing somewhere like Sankeys or The Music Box. When I take longer holidays its usually outside Europe these days - hopefully Brazil this year but we'll wait and see....

My Interests

Travel travel travel travel and travel - I like travel. Music, clubs, bars, books, eating out, sport, comedy, LOVING THE MIGHTY BOOSH at the moment. Will be going mad for the World Cup as well - but firstly a Rugby fan. Also did I mention I love travel?

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who shares the same interests or thinks they would like to know me better....

Music:

Not going to list a load of artists but styles I like are: Leftfield, breaks, hip hop (not gangsta though), indie, rock, soul, house, Good Times, grunge, reggae - I could go on... but won't. Ooh forgot funk.

Movies:

Foreign films at the moment - nothing really coming out of Hollywood that is grabbing the attention.

Television:

Well here we go, Boosh, Blackadder, Red Dwarf, Father Ted, Vic & Bob, Python, Fawlty Towers, any classic comedy in fact! Match of the Day. This is really sad but The News is great. Anything about wildlife or travel is well cool as are some documentaries. Everything else is generally rubbish though.

Books:

Any of the Jeeves & Wooster books. Anything by Ben Elton or Bill Bryson or Louis De Bernieres. The Catcher in the Rye. To Kill a Mockingbird. Of Mice & Men. Anything by Roald Dahl or Tolkien. Some Dickens novels. Anything by Huxley or Orwell. Graeme Greene and Martin Amis too. Sorry am rambling here. I could literally type for about two hours here, but I'm shutting up.

Heroes:

Spurs double winning team 1961 - live forever. The Maesteg boys. Gareth Edwards. Norman Jay. Stephen Fry. JD Salinger. Louis De Bernieres. Ben Elton. Caradog Pritchard. Dylan Thomas. These people between them have made me laugh, cry, entertained me, helped me understand my identity and given me clarity, focus and determination.
