I believe that life is a gift and should be experienced rather than talked about.I love trying new things, a day in which I learn something new, is a day worth living.I love being outside. I love to downhill ski and make snowangels in the winter. I could seriously watch the snow fall for hours. I think that rain is amazing. I don't believe in umbrellas, I think that they sheild us from the delightful experience of walking in the rain. I love beaches. I think that the ocean is breathtaking. I could sit and listen to waves crash for hours. I love canoeing, expecially with my dad, because not only do I not have to paddle as hard, but the canoe always goes in a straight line. I think hiking outdoors is a true work out, not only for your heart and lungs, but for you soul and spirit.I love my family. My dad is the oldest child you'll ever meet. He is not only full of life but also wisdom that he so willing to share with everyone around him. My mom is amazing. She is the most compassionate and creative person that I have ever met. She shares her gifts with the world as a teacher and mother. I have two older sisters. One who is an organized analytical thinker who creates her world with lists and goals. She has always been there to tell I could, when I started to think otherwise. My other sister is a free spirit. She has a passion for leadership and world issues. She has always reminded me to make decisions based upon what I truly wanted out of the world, and not what others believed it held for me.I like school, despite all of the homework. I think knowledge is a powerful tool that will only make this world something better for each of us.I dream all of the time. If you think I'm concentrating or reading or writing or watching the world move, there are undoubtedly dreams behind my eyes.I think that a life without people to share our days with is truely worthless. It is our relationships that bring us rich experiences.I'm about as random as they come. There are about a million and one things I still want to do with my life. From backpacking through Europe to canoeing down the Amazon. The world I believe belongs to each of us and is worthless unless embraced and traveled upon.I have no idea what my future will hold. I could weave an incredible tale of the person I wish to become and the occupations I will persue, but the truth is that I do not know.
