An Anointed Vessel Minister Jonathan McNeil is truly a gift of God, a musical prophet as some would say. He is one that is a surrendered vessel to the Lord. His ministry causes him to travel and to speak what thus saith the Lord without compromise. God has placed an unusual anointing on his life for deliverance for this generation. His ministry is as stated in Isaiah 61:1,"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound."

His foundation of holiness was first instilled in him by his mother, Evangelist Barbara McNeil. He received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in the early part of his life under the pastorate of Pastor Doris Bailey at Purity Holiness Deliverance Church of God, Inc. Also, he was an active participant in the YPLJ Department of the local church and national church of the Purity Holiness Church of God, Inc. He was a drummer for the local church as well, but God enabled the pastor to know that there was a greater purpose to be fulfilled for his life. Pastor Doris Bailey anointed his hands to play the organ one Sunday in Morning Worship. In August of 1990 at the age of 9, he became musician for the Purity Holiness Deliverance Church of God, Inc.

As time progressed, God allowed him to work in the National Music Department of the Purity Holiness Churches of God, Inc., where Chief Apostle James Graves was the presiding prelate. In the beginning he was trained how to operate with excellence in the Music Department by Dr. Veronica Graves Mitchell. Through this, he has been anointed for this good work. As his church has transitioned into a another phrase of ministry, he has as well. His church is now the Purity Deliverance Holiness Church. He now serves as a minister of the gospel, minister of music, graphic designer and working in administration for the ministry. He is also an advisor for many ministers of music across the United States. Not only a writer of music and a psalmist, but he has also sang in operas and a university concert choirs. In result of this, he has traveled to places such as Carnegie Hall and the Notre Dame Cathedral located in Paris, France. God has allowed him to play for some preachers/singers declaring the word of God such as Evangelist Dorinda Clark-Cole and Evangelist Esther Smith to name a few. Minister McNeil is carrying the message of hope to the world. God has directed his path and will continue to. He lives by a passage of scripture in Nahum 1:7 that states, The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him."
