Terrell "Crown Vega" Rutherford was born and currently resides in the great city of Memphis, TN and is enrolled in the University of Memphis majoring in recording technology. Although born and reared in three of the roughest parts of Memphis (South, North Memphis and Orange Mound) he has not let the streets take over but feed his hunger and goal to be one of the greatest artists to come out of his hometown as well as the south. Crown Vega has been writing since the age of 13 with influences from artists such as 8 Ball & MJG, Gangsta Blac, Tom Skeemask, Skinny Pimp, Playa Fly & Three 6 to name a few as well as other nationally distributed artists. During his tour in the U.S. Army He took on the role of producer as well using computer based programs and the MPC 2000xl but was shortlived due to serving in Iraq. Crown Vega is currently completing a mixtape and album in which he is producing along with engineer Hollywood Jay Pee of Longboy Ent. There are several other projects in the making as well as he his gaining recognition to be an artist to be reckoned with due to his heavy lyrical and track making ability.";
