---------------------------------------------Havering bands project is open to young bands/people in Havering. We run 3 rehearsal rooms situated at Bower Park School. Each room has a PA and a drum kit, we can also supply amplifiers, guitars, keyboards etc (for FREE). Rooms cost £7 for a session and a session lasts from 7.15pm - 9.15 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Our staff are CP registered LBH Youth Workers who also have experience in song writing, composition, CD production and Live performance. Our aim is to provide a safe well equipped environment for young people to hone their skills and make new friends and be a part of a thriving local music scene.........If you would like to rehearse at the Bands Project then send us a PM or email us at [email protected] and we will try our best to accomodate you.
All we ask is that you fit within our criteria, which is that.......
(1) You are a young band aged between 13 - 19 years old
(2) You (or most of the band) live within the London Borough of Havering......
(3) You are preferably in full time/part time education, ie school, college, university........
These rules are not 100% set in stone if in doubt get in touch and ask......We are also involved in local gigs which are held at the Robert Beard Youth House in Hornchurch. These events give local bands much needed experience in Live performances in front of a large and enthusiastic audience......I hope you'll agree that there are some fantastic young bands coming through the Project right now.For more information visit the Havering Youth Website HERE
