I never thought I would say this, but my favorite thing is going to the gym. It helps me to take my mind off of things that are bothering or stressing me and allows me to keep focus on a goal. I love reading all things (magazines, books, newspapers) and movies are always a great way to pass the time. My roommie and I love going on journeys (she more than I, but I still like them a lot).
Not sure. I'm very guarded and cautious about meeting new people. Somebody trustworthy and who amuses me. If you would like to chat with me, my AIM screenname is Obirese and my Yahoo Messenger screeenname is seamusjack.
I have got the most generic taste in music, it is almost an embarrassment. I love Madonna, U2, No Doubt, Mary J. Blige, FooFighters, Everclear and lots of pop and dance music. It is the only area in my life in which I feel "uncool".
Boondock Saints, Closer, Fight Club, Usual Suspects, Traffic, American Beauty, Se7en,Fargo, The Godfather Trilogy. Most of my picks are dark movies and those without happy endings. I have a couple fluffy choices, like Steel Magnolias and Rent, but they at least have a death in them. Love Actually makes me cry and is currently the only movie that does so. If you ask me to a movie that involves a serial killer, I am there.
I really don't watch much television, and if I do they are typically reruns of shows that were cancelled years ago. But I like The Simpsons and Family Guy and am strangely drawn to SuperNanny.
I Know This Much is True is my favorite book ever. I like other sorts of books, especially series and trilogies, because I get emotionally involved with the novels I read and when I am finished with them, I wish I could keep going on. Augusten Burroughs and David Sedaris are also phenomenal.
It sounds trite, but my parents are my heroes. They didn't have the best start to their married life (let's just say little Jason Andrew was definitely a factor in their getting married), but they have been happily married for over 28 years, and together for 30, since they were teenagers. Money was tight, but my brother and I never wanted for anything, and the four of us have developed a cohesiveness that will get us through all things, good and bad.
