(r.i.p James Yancey..though I never had the chance to meet you...I was with you through every song you put out) (r.i.p to my friend P...I continue to miss you to this day it's a shame you left this world so soon)My name is Thurston, but my stage name is Tech-Omega (meaning technically the beginning and ending). I feel that my music is an end of something old and the start of something fresh and new. I was born in Baltimore, Md. Currently I reside in Howard County. Music has been and still is an outlet for me to speak my mind. It is an outlet for me to relieve my anger and sadness through rhythm and words. I’ve learned music to me is a mixed bag of emotions. It is my joy, pain, and love. I’m working on and hoping to graduate from Bowie state university with a major in fine arts (studio concentration) within two more years. I feel art will provide me with a better understanding of my African American heritage and the various cultures of people around the world. I could go on typing about myself, but I feel actions speak louder then words. With that said feel free to add me…hit me up…or just listen to my music.
