Zorilla

About Me

A long and colourful history aside, Zorilla began life with Markº and Rossº writing tricksy, surprising and somewhat dramatic instrumentals in the bleak seclusion of the Tyrolean alps. They thought their haunted, venomous offerings might blend with the unique, raw-soul vocal tones of Kill-him Keelin, what with her penchant for inducing shock-imbued hysteria. Add the un-macho swagger of Gillo on guitar and lastly the studio savvy, drum abuse and frequent indigestion of Diarmo and there you go - Zorilla!

Against all odds - we surrender

We were getting used to the rig such as it is, we had our biggest audience to date and even at that many interested parties didn't make it on the night. We felt that we were building something but wer...

The maw of the beast

It was a dark and stormy night - most sensible people were sipping hot chocolate in a blanket watching Seinfeld or something. We were playing to a clutch of displaced country-folk who were prolly stud...

Zorilla in residence

The band have recently been working on more open-ended and process-based work to complement the more composed material that we still have to rehearse like bejabbers just to keep straight. In the inter...
