If you want to experience a miracle, Be the Miracle

About Me

I and an associate run a little music show that we call the SCHOOL OF BLUES. We have at times convened at local pubs, and performed a live, albeit mock, radio broadcast. We've dabbled in Podcasts. ***** We are currently weekly guests of "Oshkosh Blues Review" hosted by Doctor Dave on W.R.S.T. 90.3 FM. The show runs Fridays from 3 to 5 PM. If you're NOT from the Fox Valley, you need to go to www.uwosh.edu/wrst to get the live stream. ******* What's next ? Satelite Radio? Stay tuned for developements. If you'd like to receive a sample .mp3 of our show via e-mail attachment, send me a message with a valid e-mail address. Also, I have assembled a crack team of musicians and am currently seeking gigs as the TINY KOX BLUES BAND. We possess over 200 years of collective musical experience. Check out the personell listed elsewhere on this site. We are basically a Chicago style blues band, but with a touch of swing, jazz, zydeco, rock and roll. The varieties of Blues are the spice of Life.Oh yeah. I'm a tax accountant, part time accounting instructor and home brewer, too.

My Interests

the Tiny Kox Band, aging delinquents with fast buck attitudes: Joe Kox - trombone, vocal, Steve Keller - blues harp, Paul Hopfsenberger - accordian, vocal, Rick Bucklin (or perhaps Mike Boyle)- guitar, vocals Tony Kox - bass Dave Zelzer - drums We are a six piece band that plays a variety of blues and R & B with slovenly purpose. As one critic put it, "Who do these guys think they are?" A typical TINY KOX set might include Twist and Shout, Bald Headed Blues, You Look Bad When You're Naked, Spoonful, Worried Life Blues, Jambalaya, etc.
