Joshua and Daniel first crossed paths in the mid 90's whilst patients in a court ordered Feeder Rehabilitation Centre. Both had been quite respected in their local Feeder communities but due to some unsavoury incidents involving public baths and pre school playgrounds they were required by the courts to check into the facility or face a jail term.
"Hold up" I hear you say. What is a Feeder? Well. Y'know that movie 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape' y'know the one with the freak of a woman who was bed ridden due to her obesity, yeah well these 2 freaks gained sexual satisfaction from hand feeding woman (and men) who were of a similar mass. Bizarre I know.
13 weeks of therapy had passed and Joshua and Daniel had become friends, mainly thanks to the help of Joshua's fetching hat that Daniel rather liked. They decided that the therapy wasn't really helping their affliction, in fact they started feeding each other and that's a whole other story unto itself, so over a few casks of Fruity Lexia and a few slices of lime pie they discovered their mutual love of Gunners, Pantera, Madonna and random movie soundtracks. It was decided then and there that to help overcome their addiction they would escape from rehab and start a band.
The Feeders debut single "Fat Bottomless Pit" reached number 1 in 6 countries. The debut album "Your Blood's Like Gravy" dropped late in '96 and scorched the charts world wide. It was bigger than the bitches they'd been feedin'. These hair metalers were living the good life, the bling, the babes, the barramundi, but with any sudden rise there is also often a steep decline.....
During the European summer of '97 on the 70 date 'Booty Camp' tour things quickly fell apart. Joshua was suspected of molesting an African Elephant at a Zoo in Croatia and Daniel was found passed out unconscious in a fondue fountain. They were back to their old habits. Visas were cancelled and they were swiftly deported. Their antics reached global headlines. Upon arrival at Sydney airport the duo were arrested by Federal Police and placed in remand. They were each sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for escaping the rehabilitation facility a few years earlier. The hat that Daniel liked so much was confiscated.
Fast forward to '07. Clean, out of lock up and with Visa restrictions lifted, Daniel and Joshua are ready to take back their rightful place atop of worlds musical pyramid. Life Bitter Soul has been born. And Joshua got his hat back.
