Guernsey born (Channel Islands), ghetto bred (Notting Hill), front line residing (Peckham), part Brazilian, part Irish, part Scottish & part English (full mongrol) ex garage & dnb DJ who by the age of 21, had been lucky enough to play alongside some of the biggest names in the scene including Fabio, Pendulum (first promoter to book them up North), Fresh, Universal Project, Bad Company, Marcus Intalex, Nocturnal, Vicious Circle, Andy C, Fierce & Moving Fusion. He had also been resident at Presha in Manchester, Inigo in Clapham, Foundation in Wakefield, Works and Evissa in Kingston and had played at Bug Bar & Mass in Brixton, Matrix in Reading, Herbal in Shoreditch and Fabric in Farringdon. Alex also managed to squeeze in promoting into his gap year running successful hip-hop nights at spots such as K-Bar Fulham, Shh in Leicester Square, Stork Rooms Green Park and Kabaret on Upper James St (just off picadilly) which regularly played host to many a D-Z list celebrity.2006 saw Alex make a brief return as a promoter putting on Oxjam Underground, which saw the Rhythm Factory play host to the best up and coming talent the UK has to offer-hosting the likes of SubFocus, Foreign Beggars, Brookes Bros, Basher & Blakey. It was also the year that he set-up his own DJ Booking agency (Incite Artist Management) as well as trying his hand at production, collaborating with the Brookes Brothers (the result, 'Rainman' is currently available in most record shops on WhiteLabel). As of 2008 Alex is managing a Neo-Soul artist by the name of Sonny J Mason whose profile can be found at www.myspace.com/sonnyjmasonmusic. For Sonny at least, expect BIIIGGG things!
