S.O.G. Productions has been cranking out hits since 2000 when long time musicians David Mangum & Jared Elston founded the production company. Both very accomplished musicians starting at a very young age, and long time church musicians together, they decided to turn their focus to producing. They started from humble beginnings and produced their first full length cd for the gospel group Spirit & Truth (myspace.com/sntgospel) in 2003. Still missing something, they soon found the 3rd member of S.O.G. Efrem Edwards hailing from Houston, Texas who provided the much needed prowess in the audio engineering department having attained a degree from one of the most respected schools in Houston. Recently, they have added to their potency by adding 3 new members. Tony, Joseph and Jason round out the team bringing additional production, vocal arranging, engineering, & business skills, ambition, and drive to an already formidable force. Proficient in R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, Gospel, and much much more, their goal is simply to create the best music possible no matter what the genre. Not confined to any box or limits, S.O.G., simply put, is Music Approved!
