ROBERT ARREDONDO (VELOCET)
He was born in Mazatln But since boy he lived in the city of Mexico, he started with his father also musician, at age of 13 years he change his residence to Tijuana city where from the first day he started to work his musical knowledges, at 16 years he form the cuerpos intrusos with which he enter to the local underground scene. In 1996 it was invited to be integrated to Bodhisattva, local band formed by former members of La Borrasca, and with whom has the opportunity to share setting with artists as Tijuana NO, Julieta Venegas, Pastilla, King Chango, Santa Sabina, La Lupita, La Gusana Ciega, Fratta, among others,In 1998 Bodhisattva firm with Culebra(BMG) and they fly to Boston. To record what become their first album with the production and contribution of Jorge La chikis Amaro in the LongView Farm Studios of North Brookefield; after the disintegration of Bodhisattva he continuous the search working with the majority of the musicians of the region and form the band Chiles Verdes and at same time work in the project El Callejon participating in the power-sports-jazz trio (Edgar de la Torre, Sebastiab Farrugia, Robert Arredondo),he was part of several local bands as, Zinco, Los Gatos de la Azotea, El Resto (with whom he work recording bass), Fussion, Extremo, Iguana ETC the 2003 he leaves Tijuana to test luck in Mexico City working in the team of yahir, work like part of the staff and production in concerts,he record various themes (DEMO) for Yahir almbums and also environments and intros for the Live presentations, the 28 of Nov. he present part of his work of electronic music in the opening of the concert for yahir in the "Auditorio Nacional of Mexico City. In the 2004 he returns to Tijuana and begins to work with Cafe Con Leche and alternating also its facet of producer in independent projects, he was invited to collaborate with various artists of the region as Memo Gonzlez (ArtJazz), Compaia de Opera de Tijuana, Blue Soul, JoseJose Jazz Tribute, "Melissa", "LYO" among others. At this time he is member of Cafe Con Leche and works in his project of electronic music VELOCET, where experiences with variety of rhythms, a laptop , ram memory and the 5 strings of his low one, and like sesion musician.
