In 1 day, in 1 place (Roxy) all his music beliefs had to be reconsidered totally! Czech Scene was full of dynamism and his mate Dj David Bowles gave him his first chance in 2001... that was the beginning of a whole story (at least for him!): making people dance and experience music. Step by step, solo or through different collaborations such as Levelrise (Musicians & Producers collective), or the duo he formed with Ivan M. (saxo), Maxime makes his way, always keeping in mind the idea that you can give a few minutes of happyness to anyone while dancing on loud music! Never taking the easy solution of playing bull shit main stream radio hits, he considers that the mix is a real way of creation and that the musical "sensual pleasure" is far better when you get to this state thanks to quality groovy music, whatever the style (apart from the bull shit mentioned above :) ). As a reference he always speaks about Jeff Bennett, and more recently about Dave DK too (see influences). The result of this is a specific position on the local scene, beeing able to play in very different contexts and clubs. He is basically regularly lined-up in the major clubs (Roxy, Mecca, Duplex, Fleda, etc...) alongside international artists (see bellow), and already appeared abroad many times : in France, Germany, Slovakia, Serbia, Montenegro, Switzerland.Out of the club scene, Maxime has been hired a few times for specific composition jobs for arty short movies ("Panorama", together with Levelrise) or creative advertising.But he gets his dose of pleasure, of course, in personnal compositions, creating club tracks (house, electro, deep-tech) alone or together with dj Grant (forming "CHUT!") or songs with Levelrise (www.levelrise.com).Releases : February 2006 - "XMAG, Dj Lukas in Nightphunk" (mix) - "Vocoder in Da house" May 2005 Compilation Defile Bar Lounge 2 tracks.
