About Me

..
I'm not too keen upon summing myself up in a few simple sentences, but all the same. Well, I'm Tom - I'd like to think of myself as being fairly unique, even if I do live up to a few too many cliche's for my own good
I work as a sales-assistant come dog's-body for a small service station out in a remote place called Queniborough. Though my job has it's ups and downs, for the moment it does provide ample beans with which to fund my various interests, and it has also introduced me for a handful of people I feel privelleged to have met. In the long-term however, I'm looking for a stable job located closer to the city centre so that I can get a shared house with a few like-minded individuals.
Ah yes, I'm also contemplating something in the way of a career instead of bumming out for a few more years. Or taking a year or two out, packing my bags, and travelling - I'm not quite sure, so I suppose we'll see where lady Fate places my path.
I'll admit to being introverted to some degree, but depending on my mood (and my company) I can be loud... which has a tendency of throwing people off. I suppose I have a quirky sense of humour. And, thats really all I can think of writing.

My Interests

All sorts of things.
I have a growing passion for reading, when I was younger I never really had the patience to read a great deal (I have a fairly short attention span), but as I mature I'm getting more and more into reading, I also love collecting books. I might also add that I'm getting more and more into comics, or should I say - getting back into comics.
Games! I've been playing computer games since I got my ZX Spectrum when I was five years old, I suppose some things never change - I adore my Role-Playing Adventures like Planescape Torment, The Baldur's Gate Series, and most recently The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. I also love my pen and paper based Role Playing Games.
Films. I love all manner of different types of films. Science Fiction, Fantasy, Action, Thriller, Horror, Drama, Wuxia, even Romance.

So here I'm sitting, in all but complete darkness - just the electrical glow of my computer monitor illuminating the expanse of my bedroom.  Rain is beating down against the double-glazing of my ...

Meandering

Time for another non-sensical journal entry ?  Seems so, apparently (according to the helpful little meter to my left) I've not actually posted any new rantings this week.  Not that I seem t...

I'd really like to write something profound and meaningful in this space, its not going to happen of course - but, maybe one day, maybe recent events are too fresh in my memory to pick them apart and ...

Frustration of the not so sexual variety

Well, I'm not really too sure what to say. I've tried writing something, but I'm either too tired or just not in the mood, I'm not so sure.  If I'm tired then it hasn't hit me yet, but then I sup...
