I've learned over the years that life is hard, really hard. But it's what you make of those hard things that count. My brother and I lost our father 10 years ago and I think about him constantly but I also think about where I would be in life if that wouldn't have happened. I'm not saying I'm glad he's gone but that loosing him made me who I am today. I would have never met the man of my dreams, I wouldn't have a handsome Nephew and a beautiful Niece, I wouldn't have become as close to my brother as I am, and I wouldn't have discovered this beautiful place I call home. I'm just glad that we got to know our father as much as we did and that our family has stayed together through thick and thin. I miss my family so much, I'm so far away from them but I know this is where I'm suppose to be and I know that no matter what, I'll always have a family that loves me and we'll do whatever it takes to stay together.
