Andre Perry has always loved music and gained an interest in it at a very young age. He started DJing in 1987 playing college parties at Georgia Southern University. He performed at campus functions until his graduation in 1992. After returning back to Atlanta he landed a Saturday night residency at the infamous "Club Oxygen" in buckhead. Over the following years he traveled the Atlanta clubs and has worked non - stop as a resident at Oxygen Athens, Groove Park, Remedies, Plush, Kream, Tongue & Groove, Menage, Random, Vegas Nights, Crescent Room, Chili Pepper, Euphoria, Riviera, Vision, 1150, House, Nocturnal/Caliente, Velvet Room and now he resides at Sutra Lounge, Club Europe, "Live" on All The Hits Q100 from 9pm - 10pm Saturday Nights and and the "New" Luckie Food Lounge in Atlanta. He is also doing a little traveling to various clubs around the Southeast. He has DJ'd in a multitude of states across the country and has been featured numerous times on the 99x Beat Factory radio mix show in Atlanta. He has also been featured on The Hot 107.9 mix show in Panama City, Florida, and now shares a mix show with DJ 2nd Nature and Mike B every Saturday Night from 9 PM until 12 am on Atlanta's hottest Radio Station, All The Hits Q-100 (WWWQ). His hybrid style of covering just about every genre in his sets has sent him all over the US to play with such likes as: Chris Fortier, BT, DJ Rap, Dean Coleman, Keoki, Chris Cox (Thunderpuss), DJ Skribble, Richard "Humpty" Vission, John Acquaviva, Bad Boy Bill, Darude, DJ Irene, Satoshi Tomiie, DJ Mea, DJ Collette, Baby Anne, Donald Glaude, Felix Da Housecat and DJ Icey just to name a few. He has also opened or played for: Fountians Of Wayne, Ludacris, J-Kwon, Katy Rose, Alisha Keys, Chingy, Black Eyed Peas, Clay Aiken, JC Chasez, Good Charlotte, Michelle Branch, Joss Stone, Ashley and Jessica Simpson, Big Boi from Outkast, Gavin Degraw, Rihanna, Pussycat Dolls, Relient K, Backstreet Boys and Will Smith. In 1994 he jumped into the music industry working for Vibrations magazine and Perry Music Associates in which he assisted in the signing of the rock group "Dead Eye Dick" to Ichiban Records. After a few years under his belt in the music industry, he started working with Remix Central in 1997. He began building himself as an established DJ throughout the music industry. In 1998, Andre Perry saw the beginning of a new venture. He joined the team at DMA Magazine as the Special Projects Director. He traveled the US with DMA not only writing for and exposing the magazine but also promoting his national DMA Compilation release "Clubhouse" on Fusebox Recordings. In June 2000, Andre joined yet another team at MIXMAN as the Atlanta Regional Promotional Director which has lead him to Djing work with such companies as INTEL, MATTEL and BEATNIK (While working with them, he traveled with the groups: JET, SIMPLE PLAN, PUDDLE OF MUDD and GREEN DAY. In June 2002, looking back on his achievements as a nightclub DJ, Andre decided to open a DJ Academy (WWW.ATLANTADJACADEMY.COM) where he could share his knowledge and experiences with those future DJs who are aspiring to reach people through music. In 2002, Andre was chosen by Wembly Hall Theatre Company in Sherman Oaks, California to work on a few movie compositions and scores ("Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" and "Abby Singer" featuring Jodie Foster among others). This turned out well and he will be working with the producer on another film that starts shooting in Atlanta late 2007. Keep an eye out for Andre's schedule and his upcoming projects!!
