Hi everyone I am Dave Gilmour lead guitarist and vocalist for Pink Floyd. I just had a new CD come out called On An Island i hope you will buy it, in my opinion it is as good a work I have ever done. I joined Pink Floyd in 1967. Roger had asked me to join as a second guitarist behind Syd. Unfortanitly we soon after had to let Syd go. This was very hard for all the band members, myself included. I was friends with Syd from before college. He was the main song writter and singer for us losing Syd was not an easy task to overcome, but we did. We then went on to have much sucess as a band.In 1983 Roger left because of some disputes we had on differnt ideas for the band. Last summer Roger reunited with the band at Live 8 London it was a really great time. Me a roger have begun to talk more and put the past behind us. Several times in our conversations one of us has mentioned going on the Dark Side of the Moon tour again. I can't make any promises that we will but look for it in the near future.
