She would never describe herself as a beauty, but others had taken notice of her long locks that were as deep brown as the darkest chocolate, and her eyes the sparkled and changed like the sea. Her skin was fair and soft, covered in freckles. Her true radiance came from her smile that just show with such light and joy. She couldn't hide her inner child when such joy was following out from her lips. That smile was now spread across her face as she sat back in the plush bucket seat in the cool theater. She was completely unaware of her surrounding as her eyes danced with the images being projected on the screen. She loved the escape the movies provided. Within seconds one could be transported into a world completely different from there own. One leaves their life, their problems, even their feelings behind to escape for 90 minutes at a time.
But even in this world that wasn't her own, she smiled for the real world she lived in outside of the theater. It had been a life long struggle from birth to get here. A struggle worth every moment of pain and sorrow as she was now realizing a dream she had held in the depths of her heart. Miles from home she spend endless hours profecting that which will become her craft. Now standing at the end of yet another chapter in her life, she has no regrets. And looks forward to a future when she gets to be the one behind the images dancing across that screen. And she would be the one helping another child escape their world and find joy in hers just for a little while.
