Who am I? Am I this beautiful name that my mother and father have given me? Am I a combination of my likes and dislikes? What makes me smile or frown? Am I the talents that were bestowed upon me? Am I the heritage of my culture and family roots? Am I a combination of experiences and decisions in this finite existence?
Certainly, who I am is so much more than these things. When this temple is destroyed and I enter into another how would you come to identify me? I am an eternal soul on a migration and this body tells but one chapter in a story of many. I am a microscopic fiber within the great being of God. As an interdependent being, the answer to who I am is insignificant without considering the whole. Like identifying the pinky on my hand and giving that finger its own identity separate from my body. What is that finger without the rest of my anatomy? So to answer this question of who I am I must first discover, who is God? The answer to that my friend is the answer to all equations and problems that could ever be addressed.Educationally speaking, I obtained a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business/Management (BSB/M) Summa Cum Laude with highest honors at the University of Phoenix. The program concentrated on managing human and fiscal resources within the structure, culture, and missions of any organization. The Major stressed skill development in the areas of performance systems, employment law, public relations, financial analysis, global business strategies, and utilization of research findings. I successfully completed the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification examination through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). My current memberships include the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), National Association of African-Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR), and the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio (HRACO).
