steve gottlieb began playing the guitar at age 14 and is a relative latecomer to classical music, playing classical guitar for the past five years. He began his musical training at Moorpark College and continued to Cal State Northridge where he earned a BM degree with Honors in Classical Guitar Performance studying with Dr. Ron Purcell and Dr. Steve Thachuk. This fall, Steve will begin work on his Masters degree at Eastman studying with Nicolas Goluses.
