About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor

Beloved bass player, Mike Boyd, is moving to Austin Texas, so the band, while continuing to write music, will be taking a hiatus hopefully until next summer. So make sure to come say goodbye to the Bro on Dec. 22nd at the Winchester! It will be a very intimate show, with lots of special guests so it will be a very memorable night. It's been an amazing and growing experience playing in this group for everyone involved including MadMatts, the Golden Road to N.E. Ohio, Jim from the Winchester, students, parents, and fans. Thanks for the good times!Mike Boyd (Yes I referred to myself as beloved) ------------ BIO: Based out of Cleveland, Big Brother's Brother, after only a year of playing, has made a big impact on the local jazz and jamband scene, in the same sense that MMW appeals on a universal level. The Bro is a 3 piece, bass, drums and sax, but with the use of a lot of modern gadgets including loopers and lots of effects, the band manages to give an experience of a full ensemble of musicians. Definetly a sight worth checking out. Vote Quimby!.. width="425" height="350" ..Picnic in the Summer

"While falling squarely under the jam-band umbrella, Lakewood act Big Brother's Brother is more John Scofield and Medeski, Martin and Wood than Phish or Widespread Panic.  "We try to keep it real...
