Buttmonkey Productions

About Me

The year 1999 is when it all started. MICHAEL ROHRBACHER and his high school buddies began filming just about anything with a home video camera. Ahead of their time, the group went hard to work on many projects that would soon make history.
With a surplus of short completed films under their belts, the group released a limited edition VHS tape entitled "BUTTMONKEY PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS: Stunts, Skits, and Poo" in 2001. Instantly, it was a smash hit selling out every copy. That same year, Buttmonkey Productions were cast to do the high school morning announcements on Channel 1 television. The highlights included a broken nose sustained by a garbage can accident, much hatemail, farts, explosions, an explosive fart and a weeks suspension due to exclusive footage of vomitting. Buttmonkey Productions was at the top of it's game and could not be touched.
After a short time off, the group reunited again, but much had changed. The crew found out about the harsh reality of responsibility and were forced to do the unthinkable: become employeed at a steady job. Buttmonkey Productions had vansihed, ironically much like a fart in the wind.
In 2002, Michael began attending college. He enrolled in theatre classes to learn the method way of acting, that of which Marlon Brando and Keanu Reeves studied under Stella Adler. The experience helped him to win roles in three plays during his attendance. In 2005, he won "Best Supporting Role" for his portrayal of war veteran Rick Steadman in Larry Shue's "The Nerd." Soon after, he graduated with a worthless degree in Theatre.
2006 marked Michael's return to the big screen. Writing began on new material such as "Coochie Clamp Maxi Pads," "Yusuf Islam aka Cat Stevens," and "The Jeffrey Dahmer P.E.T.A. Video." That didn't last very long, when Michael spun into an alcoholic and drug daze which left him in a pool of his own vomit in a hamburger costume. This was sure the end of Michael Rohrbacher, or was it?
In 2008, Michael began collaboration with Dustin Tuck (musician DUSTIN MCFINKLESTEIN ) on an exclusive Myspace show. " MUSICAL CHAIRS " which premiered on Election Day, November 4, 2008. The words CHANGE and HOPE were a description of things to come for the country once "Musical Chairs" had aired, earning thousands of views in the first 2 hours. The new hit show mixes band interviews, live performances, and skits to make one great concoction of "laugh until your spleen bleeds" comedy material. If you like what you see, send an email, comment, and or tell your friends.
